Durango High School (10-3), heralding from Las Vegas, Nevada, kicks off its tournament run against Riviera Prep on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
A recent California Baptist commit, Riley is a dog on both ends of the floor for the Trailblazer. The senior guard plays extremely tough defense, getting up in his match-ups space to disrupt the offensive flow. On the other end, the future Lancer excels shooting off the dribble and is tough to stop on the fast break.
One of the most underrated recruits in the 2024 class, this weekend could be a big one for the 6-6 wing. And while DeGourville can score from all over the court and pick up a triple-double on any given night, his offensive instincts are far from his strongest trait. The junior is as hard nosed a defender as they come, with toughness and versatility to guard one through five.
A top sophomore in Nevada among 2025 grads, Brown has been a walking bucket for the Trailblazers since his freshman year. The sophomore guard can score inside-out, but thrives when defenders give him an inch of space on the perimeter with limitless range from downtown. When he isn’t striping it from long range Brown is a poised facilitator, rarely making mistakes when setting up his teammates for easy buckets.
