Highlights
Jackson has all the tools to turn into a MM/HM Division 1 hooper. He has gotten stronger and his skills really standout on the floor with his ability to step out and be a big guard/wing but also duck in the post and do work. He is a good pick n’ roll player that can seal and get the advantage on a switch on the roll. He can also change the pace by picking and popping and being a threat out in the perimeter. Should be fun to watch the rest of the year on a good high school team. Look for him to possibly play up during the grassroots season.
Titan has developed nicely since the summer. This summer he showed that he was not just a shooter he can defend and handle the ball well. This season actually getting some quality minutes on this impressive Hillcrest team Titan has been able to showcase that shooting from all over as he is shooting in the 40% category and his defensive ability has been very well noted. He is strong and athletic at 6’3. He gets 2 more inches and he is going to be a monster on the court and the football field.
Really good CG that is playing on a stacked team that has a lot of guards that will play at the next level. He just waits when his name is called and he puts up solid numbers. He is putting up around 8 PPG but could likely start for many other programs around the state with that positional size. The kid is a knockdown shooter that is increasing his IQ playing with some other stud guards. Look for him to continue to elevate his game this year and this grassroots season.
One of the top scoring guards in the class that is doing major work over at Capitol. You cannot give this kid time to line it up and let it go, he is knockdown from deep. Teams have tried to go under and it is not working because he is shooting them at a high percentage off the bounce. He has a great release and one of the best follow-throughs you will see.
Another dual sport athlete that can absolutely go. Had a stellar freshman year and is building on a solid sophomore season. With some size and he seems to have grown some more he has the skills to build on to play at the next level. Look for him to improve all year and Spring and Summer.
