The game had a playoff atmosphere and high intensity level throughout with tough on ball defense from both teams, something not seen often enough in Pittsburgh basketball. SV came away with a 63-54 victory.
Aiden Lyczek | 6’4″ | F | SV 2023
Lyczek was a dominating presence on the low block for Seneca Valley on the night. He led them in scoring with 20 pts and also fouled out Debaba Tshiebwe Debaba Tshiebwe 6'6" | PF Central Catholic | 2023 State PA while holding him scoreless. Lyczek is committed to Navy for football as a Defensive End but he combined good footwork with powerful moves and a soft finish to lead SV to the win.
Dante DePante Dante DePante 6'3" | PG Central Catholic | 2023 State PA | 6’3″ | G| PCC 2023
DePante put the team on his shoulders and scored in every way possible, dropping a game high 27 in defeat. He broke defenders down off the dribble, pulled up in the mid range and attacked the rim with a quick first step. He showed tonight, even in defeat, why he’s one of the top guards in the region.

TK does the little things for Central. He moves the ball well in the halfcourt set, he’s a tough on ball defender and goes 100mph on the press. He hit a big three to keep Central in the game in the 4th quarter and is a hustle player who leaves it all on the floor.
Luke Lawson Luke Lawson 6'3" | SF Seneca Valley | 2023 State PA | 6’2″ | G | SV 2023
A big bodied guard who also can do work in the post, Lawson played a key role in beating the press late in the fourth quarter–His physicality helped SV get the ball up the floor and being a bigger guard, he also was able to toss the ball over Central’s front 4 and down to Lyzcek on the offensive end. Lawson also did work defensively to limit the frontcourt players from Central.
