Chandler Jackson (DII AA) earned both Mr. Basketball and State Championship for his Christian Brothers. Oh, and they lost zero games in 2021-2022. Dating back to fall 2020, Chandler Jackson ended his career 47-1 over the last two seasons.
Tyler Byrd earned Mr. Basketball.
Ja’Kobi Gillespie was Mr. Basketball, State Champion,
Grant Strong earned his second-consecutive Class A Mr. Basketball honor. He was the only player in 2022 to collect his “second career” Mr. Basketball medal.
Taylor Groves had the best March of any man, right? Groves returned the gold ball to East Robertson High School, collected State Tournament MVP honors, packed for Ole Miss (football signee), and etched his name into Robertson County history forever.
Jack Browder won Dobyns Bennett Class 4A State Championship (33-6) and secured his State Tournament MVP.
Daniel Egbuniwe helped lead FACS to a title, and finished as a Mr. Basketball Finalist in DII-A.
