Who are the Most Notable Newcomers?
Ranked at 7th in his position and 4th in the state is South Grand Prairie’s Markece Young Markece Young 6'5" | SG South Grand Prairie | 2025 State TX , a very athletic two-way prospect who is having a breakout season while leading the Warriors in scoring in several performances so far, he’s also currently being recruited by Mississippi State University with interest from multiple other programs as well. Another forward to keep an eye on is Houston area prospect, Eren Ozcelik Eren Ozcelik 6'7" | PF St. Francis Episcopal | 2025 TX who lands at the 55th spot. The St. Francis stretch-forward is averaging 8 points and 3 rebounds per game while shooting 45% from the field this season.
Who is the Biggest Stock Riser?
Anthony Andrews Anthony Andrews 6'7" | PF Bellaire | 2025 State #367 Nation TX is the biggest stock riser of the 2025 class, moving up 28 spots, 47th to 19th. Andrews makes such a huge leap after a dominant start to his sophomore season, he’s shown very few limitations to his skillset and impacts the game on both sides of the floor in a multitude of ways due to his incredible post presence, whether he’s scoring, creating with his back to the basket, or stuffing a shot at the rim.
