Tuesday, December 6: Windermere Prep 49, The First Academy 46: This game was a back and forth battle between two Central Florida heavyweights with visiting Windermere Prep holding on for the win. 6’4 freshman guard Brandon Bass Jr. led the Lakers with 12 points in the win. 6’2 junior shooting guard Lorenzo DeJesus finished with a game-high 18 points in the loss for the Royals.
Wednesday, December 7: Winter Haven 71, Plant City 60: The host Blue Devils were led by 6’6 junior forward Isaac Celiscar Isaac Celiscar 6'6" | SG Winter Haven | 2024 State #263 Nation FL finishing with a double-double in 19 points and 11 rebounds. For the visiting Plant City Raiders, they were led by 6’2 senior guard Damian Jones Damian Jones 5'11" Plant City | 2023 FL with a team-high 18 points and four made 3-pointers.
Thursday, December 8: Alonso 46, Plant 42: 6’11 senior Cole Gingeleski Cole Gingeleski 6'11" | C Alonso | 2023 State FL led the way for the Ravens with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks in the win. For the host Panthers, 6’4 senior guard Will Willard Will Willard 6'3" | SG Plant | 2023 State FL finished with a game-high 16 points and four made 3-pointers.
Saturday, December 10: The First Academy 80, Horizon 41: The Royals dominated in the Opening Game of Day 2 at the Orlando Health Hoopfest, which was hosted by Windermere Prep.
Saturday, December 10: Tampa Catholic 75, Ponte Vedra 59: The Crusaders were led by 6’6 junior shooting guard Karter Knox Karter Knox 6'6" | SG Tampa Catholic | 2024 #6 Nation GA finishing with 24 points and 11 rebounds. The Sharks were led by 6’3 senior guard Ben Ritchie finishing with a team-high 19 points.
Saturday, December 10: Oak Ridge 77, Clearwater Calvary Christian 54: The Pioneers were led by 6’6 junior small forward Cameron Simpson Cameron Simpson 6'6" | SF Oakridge | 2024 State FL finishing with a game-high 22 points.
Saturday, December 10: Windermere 72, Riverside 65: The Wolverines were led by 5’7 junior point guard Ta’Veon Jones Ta’Veon Jones 5'7" | PG Windermere | 2024 State FL finishing with a game-high 29 points in the win. The Generals were led by 6’4 senior shooting guard Antonio Harrison with 17 points.
Saturday, December 10: Gateway Charter 86, Lake Highland Prep 79 (OT): In one of the best games of the day, the Gateway Charter Griffins got a big game out of 6’1 shooting guard Jahmari Johnson Jahmari Johnson 6'4" | CG Gateway Charter | 2023 State FL finishing with 34 points and 5 rebounds in the win.
Saturday, December 10: Berkeley Prep 57, Windermere Prep 53 (OT): In the final game of the night, the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers got a convincing 57-53 win over the host Windermere Prep Lakers. The Buccaneers were led by 6’1 senior point guard George Kimble finishing with a game-high 20 points. The Windermere Prep Lakers were led by 6’4 freshman guard Brandon Bass Jr. finishing with a team-high 16 points, including the game-tying basket as time expired to force overtime.
