The University of Memphis signee finished with a game-high 32 points on Friday, in their 96-57 win over Hamilton Heights (Tennessee) in the opening game of the Marshall County Hoopfest. He is averaging 25.0 points per game through the first four games of the season for Calvary Christian Academy. He was named Most Valuable Player at the Marshall County Hoopfest.
The 6-9 University of Oregon signee had a fantastic week at the National Interscholastic Basketball Conference Tip-Off. In three games, Evans averaged 12.3 points and 6.0 rebounds leading the Eagles to a 3-0 week. Finished with a season-high 18 points and six rebounds in Thursday’s 56-51 win over Long Island Lutheran (New York).
Brown recorded season highs in both points and rebounds yesterday for Dwyer High School. The 6-7 wing recorded his first double-double of the season finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds to help lead Dwyer to a 60-59 win over Stranahan at the Kreul Classic.
Lockett was all over the floor in their 85-33 win over Clearwater Central Catholic earlier this week. The 6-4 senior guard finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds and also recorded six steals. Also earlier in the week, Lockett recorded his 1,000th career point.
The 6-3 Furman University signee finished with a game-high 23 points on three made 3-pointers and also tallied seven rebounds, in yesterday’s 79-71 loss to The Rock School. So far through four games, Bronson is averaging 16.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Crusaders. Tampa Catholic returns to action on Saturday against Ponte Vedra in the Orlando Health Hoopfest Shootout, hosted by Windermere Prep.
