Orme drops 33, leads Carmel to victory over Anderson
In what was a pretty neck-and-neck game throughout, Carmel was able to go on a late run in the fourth quarter to defeat Anderson 48-37 after trialing at halftime. Without question, the player of the game was Carmel wing and Belmont commit Sam Orme Sam Orme 6'9" | SF Carmel | 2023 State #196 Nation IN , who dropped 33 points and lead all scorers. On Anderson’s side, 2023 guard Ahmere Carson Ahmere Carson 6'2" | PG Anderson | 2023 State IN lead Anderson with 16 points while fellow Anderson guard Ja’Quan Ingram added 10 points. The winning streak that Carmel has over Anderson since 2002 stay intact.
Wabash Valley Semi Finals Results
In the first semi final game, UCF commit Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN and Linton Stockton were able to defeat Luke Adams Sullivan 62-53. Hart lead Linton with 25 points while Logan Webb Logan Webb 6'3" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State IN added 16 and Braden Walters Braden Walters 6'6" | PF Terre Haute North | 2024 State IN added 12. Adams lead all scorers with 27 points.
In the second semi final game, Bloomfield defeated Terre Haute South in OT 57-54. Bloomfield’s Peter Combs Peter Combs 6'6" | PF Bloomfield | 2023 State IN and Justin Beard came up big for the Cardinals in OT to get the win.
Linton will play Bloomfield in the Championship game tomorrow.
Haralson drops a combined 53 points in two games
While Fishers may have lost in two overtime games in the first day of the Homestead Tournament, the loan bright spot for the Tigers was sophomore standout guard Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN . In two games today, Haralson scored a combined 53 points with 26 points in the first game vs Mishawaka Marian and 27 points vs Valparaiso. Today was pool play in the Homestead Tournament, which saw a bunch of early upsets today. While it was an overall rough day for the Tigers, they have a chance to have a bounce back day tomorrow, especially if Haralson continues to put up numbers like he did today.
