Kaleb Shannon Kaleb Shannon 6'0" The Prairie School | 2023 WI — G — The Prairie School
I think that Shannon may be one of the more underrated scorers in the state. The 2023 guard is a true three level scorer. He can get buckets around the rim with ease. He uses his strength and athleticism to finish at the cup. He is also very good in the mid-range. He uses his handle in an intelligent way to get to his spots. And finally, Shannon is an effective three-point shooter. Scoring over 20 points per game this season, Shannon is certainly a sleeper 2023 prospect. In the winning effort, Shannon tallied 23 points.
LaTrevion Fenderson — F — The Prairie School
I was really, really impressed with Fenderson on Friday morning. The forward played an excellent game and proved himself as a top tier prospect. Fenderson is a strong, physical prospect who does a great job of using his size to dominate the paint. Often, he avoids contact and finds a creative way to finish a layup. Fenderson is much more than just a post player, though. On Friday, the forward also showed off his smooth outside jumper. Fenderson finished with 23 points in the win.
Carsen Eeg Carsen Eeg 5'11" | CG The Prairie | 2025 WI — PG — The Prairie School
Even though Eeg didn’t shoot the ball well from beyond the arc, I still thought that the point guard played an important role in The Prairie School’s win. Eeg is an excellent passer and facilitator. With Columbus Catholic playing a 2-3 zone, the PG made good decisions with the ball in his hands. He made smart passes that often led to easy scoring opportunities for his teammates. When Eeg combines his scoring ability with his high-level passing, he is a very dangerous player.
Emmitt Konieczny — G — Columbus Catholic
Konieczny is a name to know in Wisconsin’s 2024 class moving forward. The guard is a talented scorer from all three levels. I really like how he is able to get to his spots in the midrange. He has been a bit streaky this season, but when the guard is at his best, he is no doubt one of the top players in the state.
Ben Figel — F — The Prairie School
Even if the numbers don’t show it, I thought that Figel played a really important role for The Prairie School in the win. Standing in the soft spot of Columbus Catholic’s 2-3 zone, Figel’s efforts led to buckets for his teammates. He made some really smart passes and overall was able to keep the opposing defense honest. I also liked how Figel fought for rebounds on both ends of the court.
Charlie Moore — SG — Columbus Catholic
Moore shot the ball really well from beyond the arc on Friday morning. He was able to knock down a couple of outside shots in the first half, which boosted his confidence for the rest of the contest. One of my favorite things about Moore is how he moves without the ball. The shooting guard is always in motion, running around screens trying to shake loose for an open shot. In the loss, Moore tallied 16 points. He was certainly a top performer for Columbus Catholic.
