Arou Ayen
Arou Ayen
Arou has been a big part of what Cyprus has been doing this year. One of the better stat stuffers in the state. He is putting up about 9/8/6 which is a super tough stat line especially on a team that likes to play up and down. He is able to extend plays with o-boards. On the defensive end he rebounds and get’s that ball up the floor. Defensively he gets after it and he has some high energy to give. That length that he has allows him to be a disrupter.
Jordan is probably closer to 6’4 now and he is a sleeper prospect that has been good but this yer he has really turned things up. He is a player that is good at football too so he does not usually get out there and showcase his basketball skills during the grassroots season. This year he has been on a tear and he is somewhat surprising because he is putting up 20 PPG. He is a bully big off the ball guard but he has a good handle and he uses those straight line muscle up drives to get buckets. He rebounds so well and he is a double-double threat. The way he is plating look for him to have a few more big games this season, he can somewhat take over at times.
Highlights
Not only is this kid putting up 20+ points per game but he is helping his team win. He is moving the ball around getting assist and he rebounds like crazy. Impressive Class of 2024 CG with some athleticism and some positional size. This season he has really surprised and the way that he is playing he will be a 1,000 point scorer. He is a threat outside and he slashes to the basket well.
The Mulford’s are at it again. Brigham has been shooting the ball so well and he has Grantsville rolling once again. He has hit a three in every game and he is going to compete with the best shooters in the state. Not only is Grantsville currently undefeated but Mulford is really playing at a high level.
Now to some people a player from Wasatch Academy might not be surprise but when a team is loaded with talent and players getting recruited from teams all over the country a player like Jeremiah has really come into his own playing with the Tigers. Jeremiah is coming off of an injury last year and this season he has really taken advantage of his situation. He is a MM lead guard that has been playing really well as of late. He has turned into instant offense. When he is in the game he really hits the ground running and beats players off the dribble and he can always fall back on his shooting. In the NIBC nothing is easy and he has been playing at a high level that has really gotten him some looks. Look for more offers to roll in.
