Lewis nicknamed “Fudge” helped the Flashes to a perfect week here at the SC Class A Showcase. Fudge was able to attack the basket when he wasn’t dropping perimeter jumpers today. He picked up several steals here today and turned them into easy 2 points heading the other direction. Lewis plays the game and every minute like it’s his last on the floor. He constantly brings pressure and effort to the game for the Blue and Yellow.
Lewis scored 16 points today in a win over C.A. Johnson HS.
Wilson is an undersized post player who brings a lot of toughness to the floor. Travis likes to play the game on contact and shows to rebound the ball at a high clip. He will step-away from the hoop for a short corner jumper from time to time. He understands where his bread is buttered down in the paint and on the block. Travis has good mitts to catch anything thrown in his direction. He can work around bigger post players with his nimble footwork.
Williams is a Run-Jump-Athlete for the Red Raiders. Anthony scored 14 points in win over Latta HS on the final day. Williams has a slender-sleek frame. He’s best suited playing in an up-tempo style of play and getting out in transition. Anthony was active in the passing lanes today picking up a few deflections heading the other way.
Zachary is a great athlete and stars on the gridiron for the Saints as a wide receiver. Christian has a good size for the wing position here on the hardwood for Head Coach Zam Fredrick. He was able to connect on some perimeter jumpers today in win over Carvers Bay. Zachary finished the night with 10 points in the win. Christian dropped a few mid-range jumpers off the bounce.
Williams has a great set of hands down on the block. Jai’Len is more of a mover-screener on the floor. He understands to stay in the paint and ago to work close to the basket. He keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. Williams plays below the rim but really shows to have a soft touch and a willingness to finish.
