Keaton Stone Keaton Stone 6'5" | SF Maryville | 2023 State MO (Maryville): A 6’5″ 2023 forward who has plenty of bounce to go along with his variety of moves to score in the low post. He had one beautiful up and under move where he used the head fake to lift the defender which led to a one dribble and slam dunk. He sets the solid screen and he can score on the roll down. He is also a good passer who will hit the open cutter for the layup.
Chandavian Bradley (Platte County): The 6’5″ 2023 Tennessee football recruit is a prime athlete who plays with tremendous energy at both ends of the court. He is also very skilled as I watched him scored 31 points in the opening game against Maryville. He was constantly attacking the basket off the dribble and he knocked down three 3-pointers. He is a tireless worker on the boards and he will also block shots. He was fun to watch.
Dajuan Barrett (Hogan Prep): A beefy 6’3″ 260-pound 2024 forward who really put in a lot of good work in the low post. He used his size and footwork to muscle people around inside. He established his position in the post with ease as defenders were bouncing off of him. He has an excellent shooting touch around the basket to go along with is variety of moves.
Spencer Engle Spencer Engle 6'10" | PF Smithville | 2023 State MO (Smithville): A 6’10” 2023 post player who has shown a lot of improvement over the course of a year. I was very impressed with him in the first game against Benton, when he scored 10 points. When he asserted himself, he was hard to handle in the paint. He was crashing the offensive boards for putbacks, blocking shots and scoring inside with a deft touch off the glass.
James Mathew James Mathew 6'5" | SF Chillicothe | 2024 State MO (Chillicothe): A 6’5″ 2023 forward who plays a solid, fundamental game around the basket. He has a nice shooting touch around the basket and he uses the backboard at every opportunity. He has a nice jump hook in the lane and he will pass well out of the double team. He blocks out inside and rebounds pretty well.
Bryce Page (Kearney): A 6’6″ 2024 forward who is good worker with a high energy style of play. He is an active rebounder who is not afraid to mix it up inside with the physical play. He catches the ball well inside and he can finish. He also made some impressive rim runs as well as a couple of nice chase-down blocks on defense.
Denver Domann (St. Joe Benton): A 6’3″ 2023 forward who really played with a lot of spark and energy when he entered the game. He has some solid post moves where he used patience and he finished strong off the glass. He was constantly hustling and playing good defense. He also blocked a 3-point shot that was very impressive.
Jaishon White Jaishon White 6'4" | PF Chillicothe | 2026 State MO (Chillicothe): A 6’4″ 2026 forward who is a physical young post player who more that held his own inside when he was called up. He has solid bounce and he rebounds well. He battles for position for rebounding and when playing post defense. The young lefty also displayed a nice jump hook in the lane. I look forward to seeing more of him down the road.
