Highlights
We head down South and there is a good off the radar young hooper in Mason who can put the ball through the basket. Kid has been solid and as a young sophomore he is making an impact on that Desert Hills team.
Luke has been battling a few injuries but has payed his dues and is now in the starting lineup. Luke is keeping it simple as he gets his feet wet and understands the speed and his role. He is hitting open spot up shots and he istrying to get in the lane and create for himself but mainly others. You can see that he has the tools but is still trying to figure things out.
Jaxon Huesser
Jaxon Huesser
Jaxon has been a nice and steady hooper for Viewmont this year. Made a splash literally from deep this week as he was a big reason Viewmont was able to knock off a surging Juan Diego team. If Jaxon can stay consistent and hit 2-3 three-pointers a game like he has he is just helping his cause and his team really spread the floor.
The 6’4 wing is not a new, new name but he is a player that has next level ability. He is a good size as a 2 guard at the next level that might be able to slide down to the 3 at the right small school. Good solid prospect to look for at the JUCO and D2 level. Shoots the ball well and has a good IQ. Plays hard and is a player that can clean up the glass and make the extra pass.
Trey Johnson
Trey Johnson
Trey is a new name that is finding his niche over at provo and he is helping them turn the script as he is providing some solid scoring contributions. Once he gets going from the outside he can really be productive.
Otavio Amani
Otavio Amani
Keep an eye on this kid especially if you are a D2 school because he has great size and shooting ability. He has been a standout player over at Layton Christian. Otavio has had a few games where he has exploded and they play at LCA they really spread the scoring so even him just scoring 15 is big time over there. LCA wins games and he plays his role.
