Russell has been a great addition to Eagle High School. He has been able to get that tempo up and he is up an running and finding players running the floor. When he was playing for ALA he was more of a scoring guard and mainly because that’s what they needed him to do and now he has really shown that he is a well rounded PG that can score the ball outside off the bounce when he is creating for himself and also on kick outs or when the ball finds him open when his team is swinging the ball. A really good aspect of his game that is really starting to take shape is that vision and ball placement on his passes. Currently Russell is really projecting towards small school but he can sure make those around him better.
New player on the radar for us as Ryan has some major game. The kid is putting up some solid numbers. 18 PPG as of late and he is doing it in many ways. He has some great mechanics on his shot starting with his footwork. Ryan gets that wide stance set and he then lines it up and lights it up. That lefty game is so nice. He sets up that left to right cross so nicely as well. Gets to the rim and gets to the free-throw-line as well. Great positional size as a CG/SG that can score out in the perimeter as well as on those other level.
Jakobe Jones
Jakobe Jones
Jakobe can really light it up form deep. He is a player thathas that three level scoring ability out on the perimeter. He can get you with stop and pop as he walks into shots and he can hit you with the hand down, man down from deep when defenders go under screens. Then he has the really good catch and shot shot making ability as he catches ready and he unloads quickly. Really good size for a shooting guard at the next level. Jakobe is like a 15/5/5 type of prospect at minimum He would be an NWAC steal as he can really make plays happen and all of his skills really translate ot the next level.
One of the better two way players out in Idaho as Titus really commits to the defensive side and he plays with a great motor covering ground and working to stay in-front of players but also use his strength and IQ to make sure and bother tough scorers. Rebounds well and he can push the tempo with his ball handling and he also fills those lanes and can shoot the rock. Good all-around player that can really make it difficult for opposing teams on both ends of the court.
