Stylz Gardner Stylz Gardner 5'11" | CG Peninsula Catholic | 2023 State VA | 5’11” CG | Peninsula Catholic ’23
Gardner came into the season with the label as one of the top scorers in the 757, and he’s shown that as PC has played a very tough schedule so far this season and he’s put up big numbers in most of those games. The smooth three level scorer and sniper from deep has had games of 16 points in a win over First Flight (NC), 16 points in a win over Greenfield (NC), 27 points in a win over Shabach (MD) and has scored 20 points in each of their games in the Tarkenian Classic in Las Vegas.
Nasir Coleman | 5’11” PG | Patriot ’23
Coleman is the floor general for a Patriot team that looks like a Class 6 contender this year as they are a buzzer beater away from being undefeated, and he’s been fantastic leading the team and being their go-to ball handler and playmaker. He’s been as consistent as any guard in the state and he’s had great games of 18 points 5 steals in a win over Unity Reed, 13 points 8 assists in a win over Osbourn Park, 13 points 6 assists in a win over Gainesville and 15 points 4 assists in a win over Western Branch.
Daytwan Johnson | 6’3” CG | Booker T. Washington ’23
Booker T. Is off to one of their best starts in recent memory, and Johnson has been a big reason why as the senior lead guard is putting up big numbers and off to a very hot start for them. The senior guard has the green light and he’s taken advantage of it with big performances including a 30 point triple-double to start the season and going for 24 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Norcom.
James McIntyre James McIntyre 6'0" | CG Washington-Liberty | 2023 State VA | 6’2” CG | Washington-Liberty ’23
McIntyre was an All State selection last year for Washington-Liberty, and he’s built on that success with a blazing start to his senior season. The highly skilled 6’2” combo guard has been their primary ball handler and shot maker, and has had some big games including a 30 point outburst in their win over Westfield.
Dj Holloway Dj Holloway 6'0" | CG Hayfield | 2023 State VA | 6’0” CG | Hayfield ’23
Hayfield is one of the best and most balanced teams in the state and are currently on a 37 game winning streak dating back to last year, and Holloway has really stepped up for them so far this year. Their balance means they have multiple guys who can be the guy every night, but Holloway has been consistent with games of 21 points in a win over Woodside and 16 points in a win over South County
Bobby Gardner | 5’11” PG | Fluvanna ’23
Gardner is one of the most underrated players in the state, and after an All State season last year he’s off to another fast start this year, including a 37 point performance in a loss to Albemarle. The dynamic guard can score it in bunches in different ways and has put up big numbers including 29 points in a win over Buckingham, 23 in a win over William Monroe and 21 in a win over Orange County.
