1 Jason Crowe Jr. – Lynwood 2026
Crowe is already a standout player as a freshman. He does a good job controlling the pace of the game, speeding it up in transition and then slowing it down in the halfcourt. He’s an explosive scoring threat who can attack off the dribble, finish a the basket, and draw contact to get to the free throw line. He can also shoot consistently from three-point range off face-ups, pull-up in transition, or off the catch. Good playmaker who sees the court and finds the open teammate.
2 Elijah Bell – South East 2024
Bell is a smaller guard but is effective especially scoring the ball. He’s a confident shooter from three-point range. He shoots the three off the catch and if open will take the shot. He can get past his defender off the dribble and is able to get into the lane. Finishes well at the rim and can draw fouls and get to the free throw line. He can face up and he can shoot the little step-back jumper.
3 Fresh Purnell – Wiseburn Da Vinci 2026
Purnell is another freshman looking to make an immediate impact. He is a good ball handler and did a solid job running the offense. He’s quick with the ball in his hands, looks to push the pace in transition. He can attack off the dribble, does a good job driving middle and shooting the little floater in the lane. Consistent three-point shooter off the catch. Looks for the open teammate and knows when to look to score and when to pass.
4 Maximo Adams – Narbonne 2026
This was my second time watching Adams play and he continually looks impressive as a catch and shoot three-point shooter. He has a quick release on his shot and can fire it off before defenses can close out. He runs the floor well in transition. Good rebounder and good finisher at the rim. He has an improving off the dribble game.
