Continue ReadingHe came into this game averaging close to 30 Points per but showcased his ability to be an outstanding facilitator in this game as he had somewhat of an off shooting night. One of the attributes that you have to love about this young man is that he doesn’t seem to get rattled regardless of what may be going on. Colleges at the D2 level should definitely drop in and check him out sooner than later.
He had an off-shooting night from the perimeter but still found a way to make a nice impact on the game by staying aggressive. He attacked the basket for buckets as well as drawing a nice number of fouls.rn
Highlights
Was consistent from the perimeter once again, knocking down the deep ball off the catch as well as making some plays off the dribble. He doesn’t take many bad shots which is an attribute that should help him transition pretty well to the next level. The next step for him will be to increase the pace that he’s able to play with and consistently locking in defensively.
Christopher Marshburn
Christopher Marshburn
Understands his role as a shooter and doesn’t hesitate very often about shooting the deep ball which he shoots at a pretty high percentage. He gets good arch on his shot and doesn’t need much time to get his shot off which is an attribute that should help him transition fairly smoothly to the next level.
Jay Byron
Jay Byron
His role on this team is simply to put the ball in the bucket at a high level and that’s exactly what we saw from him in their matchup with CFHS. Knocking down shots from outside, while using his speed to blow past defenders and finishing through contact/traffic in the paint. He led all scorers with a game high of 24 Points and continues to prove why he is a player that should be taken seriously as a prospect for the next level.
Connor Moore
Connor Moore
Stepped up and provided some big time buckets from three point land in their matchup with Overhills HS. He does a nice job of setting his feet and getting his shot off quickly before defenders can recover to make a play.
Ricardo McDonald
Ricardo McDonald
Had one of his better overall showings of the season, finding various ways to make a nice impact on the game. He showed nice athletic ability, defended without fouling too often and finished at a nice rate when he attacked the basket.
