Is one of the most historic basketball events in North Florida during the Holiday times. Started in 1991 with college teams then transitioned to high school in 2000. The two day event is special because of the significance that basketball was created on this very day. December 21st-22cd puts some of the best local area teams and South Georgia teams together under one roof.

The big man protected the paint with a tenacious effort finishing with 9 blocks in a win on Day two of the classic. He is still figuring out how to use his body after growing 8 inches over the summer. He still looks as if he could grow a few more inches. Good Frame with plenty of room to add muscle. He used his length to contest all shots and gave his team extra opportunities on the offensive end with his soft hands and length.
Daniel Walker | 6’2 | Guard | 2024 | Lincoln
A guard that has a V8 engine in his legs and only knows one way to play hard. Diving for loose balls, taking the best player on every possession on the defensive side of the court. He showed the ability to knockdown catch and shoot threes, when his feet are set. When he did put the ball on floor he wanted to go right and took the initial contact playing off two feet. Does all the tangibles that a coach would love. If his offense game can catch up to his defense he can be special.
Octavion Demory Octavion Demory 6'3" | SF Gainesville | 2024 GA | 6’4 | Forward | 2024 | Gainesville (GA)
The junior forward finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds in a win against a good godby team this morning. They are a smaller group but that did not stop him from being effective on both sides of the floor. He went 8 for 13 from the field and hit both of his free-throws while adding one 3 pointer. Strong build guard with a grown man lower body to weave through traffic and finish through contact.
Randall Pompey | 6’3 | Guard | 2024 | Rickards
Seems like Rickards has another solid guard in the fold in Pompey. Who finished with 18 points and 5 rebounds on the day in a win vs Taylor County. The guard was relentless on the defensive end which seemed to jump start his flow on offense. With a strong frame he finished through and around his defenders. He is known for his mid-range jumper, but today he got downhill and finished playing off two feet. He takes pride on the defensive end and will guard whoever is in front of him. If he can improve his ball handling and catch & shoot 3, his game will take another jump. With already a College level frame he could be another good guard to come out of a lineage of guards Rickards is known to produce.
Evan Yon | 6’6 | Forward | 2024 | Lincoln
The Long and rangy junior showed that he can play bigger than his slim frame shows. He did not mind banging with bigger forwards down low. He guarded multiple positions including guards and sits on defense moving his feet without fouling. Runs like a deer and has really smooth hips. He has a shooting stroke that can translate to the next level, with a summer of reps and continued skill development.
