Tre Thomas
Thomas is one of the more athletic bigs in the state. Though he’s already 6’9, his impressive wingspan and vertical explosion allow him to play even bigger than his listed size and have a tremendous playmaking radius on both ends of the court. With a good set of hands and a consistent motor, Thomas is an elite lob threat who catches everything thrown his way. These dives to the basket allow him to dominate the dunker spot and finish at the rim with power. Defensively Thomas is highly engaged on seemingly every possession. He does a good job of playing to his strengths and forcing shooters to shoot over length on the perimeter and at the rim. However, Thomas is an elite rim protector who has a knack for timing and tracking shots. This interior pressure discourages drives and forces bad attempts.
Wooley is a rangy lefty who can be a primary scorer for an offense. With a mature game, Wooley uses patience off the dribble to get to his spots and knock down quality shots. As a sniper from deep, he attacks closeouts and works well within the midrange and is athletic enough to finish at the rim. Wooley can also get off the ball and be effective as a movement shooter off screens, pin-downs, and timely relocations to space. Defensively he showed two-way potential when timing up chase-down blocks, disrupting pass lanes, and crowding ballhandlers as a point-of-attack defender.
Highlights
Pippin is a point forward with next-level size and passing skills. His playmaking versatility allows him to initiate the offense, create shots from dribble penetration, or find cutters and shooters out of the post. This natural feel for the game and knack for making the extra pass provides continuity for the offense and generates a ton of great looks. As a scorer, he’s an inside-out threat. With a sturdy frame, he can finish through contact in the interior, exploit mismatches in the post, and set solid screens. However, he has a rapid-fire release and is dangerous when being a popper out of pick and roll- making him a chess piece that is used as a play initiator or finisher on any given possession.

Carr is a point guard who has all the tools to be a next-level player. With an improved jumper and a more aggressive approach to his game, Carr could take a step into elite status this season. Carr has always had a pure point mentality and skillset. His natural feel for the game enables him to get shooters open, find great shots, and play make for others around him. However, with Carr stepping into his primary scoring role, he’s capable of having the offense run through him. With an explosive stepback and sidestep that consistently creates space, Carr shows great bounce to his game and knows when to change speeds and keep defenders on their heels. When he attacks the rim, he displays great body control and plays above his size at the basket.
