PH NorCal was there on Friday. Of the 4 games played there was an outstanding player of the game award. There were many good prospects on the court at this event. This group stood out most in their respective game.
Hampton a rising prospect in this 2025 class didn’t waste time making his impact felt in this game. The 6’7 G/W produced a game high of 28pts, and 11 rebounds to lead Moreau Catholic to a 69-43 win over Grant. He scored in all the ways a top prospect could. At 6’7 his handles are good enough to him to his spots, and to make moves to finish.
In these season opening showcase games, top players find ways to shine. Muhammad had it going early and often scoring 20pts, but falling short 68-61 to a SoCal team Beverly Hills High. The tough guard from Oakland repeatedly attacked the paint, he has that knack for drawing fouls He was 8/11 at the line with two 3’s.
Highlights
The Senior was clicking on all cylinders for the host O’Dowd Dragons. He lead this group with 22pt. His three 3’s were needed in this one. He used his floater, and solid drives to the basket to help the Dragon hold on after a furious rally by Vanden to get the victory 51-47. He makes this a tough team to play when he produces these types of games.
Highlights
The top player from Vegas showed up and showed out in Oakland on Friday. The UCLA commit gave us a taste of what teams are going to have to deal with when Mack steps on the court. He led Coronado to a 78-70 win over Modesto Christian in the finally for Friday’s game. He scored 24pts with nifty and shifty moves only reserved for the ones ready for the college game.
