And while those guys deserve their love, we also want to highlight the prospects at lower levels of college basketball that are producing at a high level. In this article we’ll be showing love to non-Division I prospects who have been dominating. If we missed a prospect please tweet @PrepHoopsOH and let us know who we missed! It’s tough to find stats on every player so we apologize if somebody is left out. Each prospect on this list can be found in our 2021 rankings.
Division II
George Mangas: Our highest ranked prospect to commit to a Division II program out of high school, Mangas is averaging 13.5 PPG for a 2-0 Fairmont State squad, shooting almost 60% from the floor.
Kobe Rodgers: Our second highest ranked prospect to commit to a Division II program out of high school, Rodgers is scoring 16 PPG while shooting 63% from the field and grabbing 5.7 rebounds per game for one of the top Division II teams in the country.
Maceo Williams: After redshirting as a freshman, Williams is scoring 6.7 points per game as a Sophomore for Ashland.
Brayden Sipple: Scoring 9.3 PPG for Cedarville, shooting 60% from the floor and played well in scrimmage Vs a Division I opponent.
Josh Thorbahn: Scoring 6.7 PPG for Findlay, shooting 45% from the 3-point line.
Jamarr Talbert: Scored 8 points in victory over Cleveland State.
Stefan Stanic: Scoring 7 PPG for Ashland while grabbing four rebounds per game.
Jarius Jones: Scoring 8.3 PPG for Ohio Dominican.
Aidan Reichart: Scored 12 points in season opener for Mercyhurst.
Zakai Alexander: 6 PPG on 40% from 3-point range for Walsh.
Elijah Hinton: Averaging 19 points and 6 rebounds a game, shooting 7-8 from 3-point range through two games for Malone.
NAIA
Nash Hostetler: Second highest ranked prospect to commit to an NAIA school, scored 29 points in last two games.
Marcus Steele: Seven points Vs Mississippi College, was third highest ranked prospect to commit to an NAIA school.
Tyson Elwer: 3.5 PPG, was fourth highest ranked prospect to commit to an NAIA school.
Casey George: 11 PPG for nationally ranked and unbeaten Thomas More
Luke Rowlinson: 15.4 PPG for Cornerstone, scored 22 points twice.
Gavin Foe: 2.8 PPG for unbeaten Marian.
Jaiden Guice: 10 PPG for Shawnee State.
Carter Jones: 5.4 PPG for Mount Vernon Nazarene
Johrdon Mumford: 8 PPG for Lindsey Wilson
Greg Johnson: 15.3 PPG for Goshen
Jayden Priddy Powell: 12.7 PPG on 57% from 3-point range at Concordia
Eli White: 13.6 PPG for Spring Arbor
Jimmy Salamone: 20+ points twice for Ohio Christian
Division III
Luke Chicone: 13.0 PPG for 2-0 and nationally ranked John Carroll, highest ranked prospect to now play at a Division III school.
Henry Raynor: 7.0 PPG for John Carroll, second highest ranked prospect to now play at a Division III school.
Ricky Radtke: 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for Denison, was second highest ranked prospect to commit to a Division III school out of high school.
Henry Hinkle: 8.0 PPG for Ohio Wesleyan, was third highest ranked prospect to commit to a Division III school out of high school.
Isaiah Young: 11.7 PPG for Heidelberg, won OAC freshman of the year last season. Was fifth highest ranked prospect to commit to a Division III school out of high school.
Ashton Price: 12.0 PPG for Baldwin Wallace.
Trey Killens: 13.0 PPG for Whittenberg.
Obed Achirem: 13.0 PPG for Wilmington.
Will Yontek: 11.5 PPG for John Carroll.
JUCO
Tasos Cook: 10.9 PPG for Vinicennes, highest ranked prospect currently at a JUCO.
Amarion Dickerson: 8.3 PPG for Mineral Area, second highest ranked prospect currently at a JUCO.
Elhadji Thiam: 25 PPG for Lakeland, third highest ranked prospect currently at a JUCO.
Tyishawn Smiley: 13.5 PPG for Cuyahoga County.
Chris Peoples: 12.6 PPG for Hocking.
