Trey is one of the few players in the state that has committed to play at the next level. Trey is one of those high IQ kids that just sees the floor differently. Trey does a great job of scanning the floor and pitching that ball up the floor. He is a player that can effect the game with the way he moves the ball and is able to create for others. Scoring wise he can really make some solid moves to get to the rim and get some mid-range shots off. From the outside he is a solid shooting prospect that will make a big impact at the next level. Trey will be huge for the rise of RSL Academy.
Fremont has a shot at making some noise in region and they can really make some noise in 6A as well. David will be a big part in what Fremont does. Fremont has looked great this Fall and now you insert David on the team and things will just open up for everyone else. David is a big time threat down low as he is strong and can power through contact. Look for David to be a double-double machine.
Aidan is a sleeper prospect that plays a combo wing position. He can go down low and do damage on the blocks but he can also step outside and effect the game in the perimeter with his skills. This all translates to the next level. Aidan will be a stat stuffer, a do it all player for Cottonwood this season. Look for cottonwood to surprise some people this season.
It is easy to forget about some players on this Wasatch Academy team because they are littered with 4 and 5-star talent. Do not discount the talent that Jerry has over there. Jerry is a solid PG that can defend the ball. He moves well and his lateral movement on the ball is elite and he is a player that competes. Although he might be overshadowed by some talented players his game does translate to the next level. Jerry would fit in well at the D2 or NAIA level as he could impact the game right away.
Nixon is in the right region and at the right school to get some next level looks. He has height and he can run the floor. The size is important in a region that is one of the better regions in the state. He will be able to compete with other high level bigs and show that he does have next level talent. Lehi is not going to sneak up on anyone but Nixon is a sneaky next level prospect.
