Jae’Coby was dominant again during his time on the court, scoring effortlessly in the paint. He explodes through contact, allowing him to calmly finish at the rim after getting into the territory where very few athletes can get to vertically. His ability to maneuver his way through the defense and get to the rim was incredibly impressive, calmly picking his spots and attacking weaker defenders. His ability to take slower and bigger defenders off the bounce and get to where he wanted to really stood out as well. His versatility on the offensive end of things might only be matched by his potential to be an incredibly effective defender at the next level. He plays with an incredibly high motor that allows him to fly around the court and play the passing lanes but also defend on ball and come over as the weak side help and reject shots at the rim. His ability to defend positions 1-5 right now was down right impressive, and he looks to be able to comfortably defend 2-4 at the next level. Osborne is a name you HAVE to get to know.

The Prairie View A&M commit is a jaw dropping athlete who is the definition of a two way force. His ability to play high level defense on the perimeter pairs well with his ability to protect the rim and reject shots down low. His athleticism allows him to absolutely wreak havoc defensively and then race the other way to hammer home a jaw dropping dunk. There were multiple instances in which he was able to take the ball from his opponents and race the other way to put on a show. He played the passing lanes at a very high level, constantly tipping passes and deflecting opportunities from his opponent. Lewis is an absolutely impressive athlete who is must see TV. In week one of the season, they knocked off the powerhouse Beaumount United.
Peyton Gusters Peyton Gusters 6'5" | SF Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy | 2023 State TX 2023 6’5 Faith Family Academy
Peyton is a special prospect who has really taken a massive leap over the last year, really honing in on the defensive side of the ball and showing off his explosive athleticism and how easily he is able to turn defense into offense. His length allows him to defend all positions on the floor and his foot speed allows him to harass high level guards in the full court. His ability to defend the best players on the court and seemingly tale them away really allowed his defense to take advantage of relaxing a bit more on the defensive end. It allowed his center to stay back in the paint and everyone else just deny the ball when he was on the court. He is a strong trapper of the basketball who uses his ability to seemingly swallow up his opponents by his harassing nature on the ball. He has really grown as a set shooter from beyond the arc, but also is showing enough patience to pull up in the mid-range and take what the defense gave him within the half court. Gusters has really worked on when to pick his spots, but do not get in his way on the fast break or you will end up in a body bag (SEE BELOW)!
Kaden Tate 2024 6’4 Shadow Creek High School
Kaden is a high level wing who has the ability to truly defend 2-4 at the next level. I watched this kid take on high level forwards down on the block, affecting their ability to get to the rim using his strength but also his positioning. He is incredibly aware on the defensive end of the floor, scanning the floor and calling out defensive assignments. His awareness and the basketball IQ that has been instilled in him through his head coach is at a very high level. Coach President is really teaching them the game, breaking down film and instructing them to read the game, not just play it. I have been very impressed with the development of his prospects over the last few years, not just off of their athleticism and shot making but their overall basketball IQ and versatility on the defensive end. Tate is not just a defensive menace, he s a consistent finisher down low, especially off the bounce turning the corner on his opponents and getting to the rim.
