Jeremiah is one of the top prospects in the entire 2025 class with the ease in which he scores from all three levels, locks up on the defensive end of the court, and his explosive athleticism and high level footwork. He is such a smart player who understands how to attack and use space on the basketball court. He has some of the best footwork that I have seen at a player that young, and he knows how to use it to his advantage at all three levels of the court. Whether he is stopping on a dime to rise up in the mid-range, or euro-stepping around the help defender, Green always seems to be one step ahead of the defense both mentally and physically! He is a very shifty player with how low to the ground he plays, and how quickly he can turn and create space with a live dribble. Where he really keeps the defense off balance is his willingness to shoot in the midrange off the stop and pop. It always catches defenders back peddling, and when they are waiting for it, he gives them a head fake and takes off for the rim. He has a tremendous motor paired with good end to end speed, that allows him to finish at will on the fast break. He has the ability to play on or off the ball, making him a true combo guard but where he really dominates is taking limited dribbles, moving without the ball and calmly getting to his spots. Green is an elite offensive weapon who does not need the ball in his hands to show you why.
Jamal Chretien Jamal Chretien 6'5" | SG Mayde Creek | 2025 State #356 Nation TX II 2025 6’4 Katy Mayde Creek High School
Jamal is a skilled shooting guard who is a knock down shooter off the catch. He is a real weapon who moves without the basketball to get free and finds weak spots in the defense to be an open passing option for his lead guard. He calmly moves into space and is always ready to knock down shots. He has unlocked the coveted fourth level of the defense, calmly rising up from a step or two beyond the arc. I was very impressed with how his shot mechanics stayed the same from seemingly everywhere on the floor. He is not just a spot up shooter however, when the defense keys on him and closes out hard, he uses head fakes to blow by defenders on his way to the rim. He confidently uses his frame to attack smaller guards off the bounce and even finished with consistency over taller defenders. His frame is also effective as an on ball defender, allowing him to take on strong defensive match-ups and take pressure off of his smaller point guard. As he continues to develop more combo guard like skills, I am fully expecting his stock to dramatically rise! With the loss of his point guard running mate, Chretien will be asked to do more than ever before and I am intrigued to watch his development.
Kohlman Dutton Kohlman Dutton 6'3" | SG Bellaire | 2025 TX 2025 6’2 Bellaire High School
Kohlman is the ideal shooting guard that any coach would like to have on their roster. Dutton shows up to do the dirty work, hit timely shots and defend the hell out of the ball. He is a nightmare matchup with his frame, energy and willingness to defend. He is not afraid to slide over and protect the rim, as well as use his active hands to poke the ball free as his opponent slashed to the rim. He is an elite help defender with his willingness to do whatever is necessary depending on the situation. He is not afraid to put his body on the line to draw a charge or even protect the rim at his height. He showed an ability to hit the pull up three off the bounce, as well as putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. He was patient and did not try to do too much, and really got his within the flow of the offense.
Cameron Garza 2025 6’1 John J High School
Cameron is a skilled scorer who can punish you on or off the ball. Garza is a really consistent shooter from the outside off the catch, calmly scoring from the corners and the wings whenever the defense gave him a step to catch and shoot. I was very impressed with his prowess on the offensive end of the floor, he is a very skilled and creative scorer off the dribble from all three levels of the floor. He calmly scored from the mid-range off the dribble and beyond the arc when given opportunities to catch and shoot. He routinely got into the teeth of the defense and put pressure on them through his constant aggression on the offensive end of the floor. His ability to get into the paint and creatively evade contact with fancy euro steps, he even showed an ability to change his shot angle once he has left his feet.
