Nyles Bunn-McNeill Nyles Bunn-McNeill 6'5" | SF Pottstown | 2023 State PA – 6’6” / Senior / Pottstown / EPE Premier / Wing: Bunn-McNeil is an incredibly athletic two sport prospect (football standout too) who posted a stat line of 14 ppg., 8.7 rpg. and 3.4 apg last winter. On the court Bunn-McNeil can score at all 3 levels, but he is especially effective in the mid-range. Operating from the elbows, Bunn-McNeil can drain mid-range jumpers or use a couple of dribbles to score at the rim. Bunn-McNeil will also dive to the block, receive a pass, and then execute a smooth drop step for a bucket. He also excels at scoring via the offensive glass.
Matt Christian Matt Christian 6'3" | CG Methacton | 2023 State PA – 6’3” / Senior / Methacton / Eastern PA Elite / Shooting Guard: With the graduation of several star players, this winter Christian (9.2 ppg. in 2021-22) will ascended to the No. 1 scoring option for Methacton. Back in June at Philly HS Live, Christian posted games of 33-points and 27-points, proving he is ready for that role. Christian is athletic, owns a high basketball IQ and a large wingspan. He can score the rock at all 3-levels. His ability to shoot over double teams is astonishing. In 2021-22 Christian led the PAC in 3PM with 57 and was a 2nd team All-PAC (Frontier Div) selection.
Dom DeMito Dom DeMito 5'11" | CG Pope John Paul II | 2024 State PA – 5’11” / Junior / Pope John Paul II / Eastern PA Elite / Combo Guard: Demito is our long shot POY candidate. PJP graduated its top three scorers and that means in 2022-23 Demito will be thrust into the role of primary bucket getter. We believe this high IQ guard has the skills to handle that promotion. Demito can use his dribbles to blow past defenders or to splash pull up threes. Demito’s continuous off ball movement makes him extremely difficult to guard. Lastly, he excels at turning steals / deflections into points. This summer at Philly HS Live, Demito netted 26 points vs. Downingtown East. So, there is evidence Demito can fill it up at a high clip.
Sadeeq Jackson – 6’0” / Junior / Pottstown / NEPA Elite / Combo Guard: Jackson is an intriguing prospect who only played in 13 games last year because of injuries. Despite that limited action, Jackson hit for 14 ppg. and was a 2nd team All-PAC (Frontier Div) selection. He is a fast, athletic, and instinctive player who thrives in transition. In the half court, Jackson is solid spot up three-point shooter. Towards the end of the 2021-22 season Jackson exploded for games of 23, 18 and 17 (2x) points. If he is healthy, it will be interesting to watch what Jackson can accomplish in 2022-23.
Jake Kapp Jake Kapp 6'3" | SF Boyertown | 2023 State PA – 6’3” / Senior / Boyertown / Eastern PA Elite / Small Forward: For years Kapp remained one of the most underrated prospects in the area. Then as a junior, Kapp used an expanded offensive skill set to burst into the spotlight. Last year he averaged 13 ppg., hit 30 threes and was a 1st Team All-PAC (Liberty Div) selection. Kapp has always scored with his back to the basket using either hand. But in 2021-22 he unleashed an improved perimeter skill set that took his game to another level. If Kapp continues to develop his 3-point shooting and dribble drive skills, he will post a monster 2022-23 season.
Madison Tatom Madison Tatom 5'11" | SG Upper Merion | 2023 State PA – 6’0” / Senior / Upper Merion / PSB Philly / Combo Guard: Tatom has been a top-rated prospect for years. In 2020-21 Tatom was 1st Team All-PAC selection, but last season he suffered through an injury plagued junior campaign (8 ppg). When healthy, Tatom is an outstanding catch and shoot three-point specialist. Additionally, his quick first step and elusive handles get Tatom to the cup at will. His high basketball IQ and excellent court vision allow him to burn as a pass first lead guard as well. We expect that in 2022-23 a healthy Tatom will return to form and have a banner season.
Others Receiving Consideration:
Luke Fryer – 5’11” / Junior / Owen J Roberts / Philly Pride / Combo Guard
Zach Ward – 6’5” / Senior / Boyertown / Eastern PA Elite / Combo Guard
