ND Class B: All-Region 8 Predictions

This is our 8th and final version of the All-Region Predictions for Class B ND hoops. The first practice of the season is on November 28th and then things will get heated up for Class B basketball. Who is the best in Region 8? The favorites have to be Powers Lake and Stanley. Tyson Enget Tyson Enget 5'11" | PG Powers Lake-Burke Central | 2023 State ND is a top player in the State and he puts up gaudy numbers. He will certainly be in the discussion when it comes to the Mr. Basketball nominations. Stanley won the Region Championship last year and Powers Lake will be ready to get that back this year. Will anyone else challenge the Ranchers and Blue Jays for the top spot?

-All-District last year w/ 9 ppg and 5 rpg, a smooth jump shooter, has a nice floater game, hustle & plays hard.

Jase Dickens Jase Dickens 6'4" | SG White Shield | 2023 State ND (2023) |6’4 SG| White Shield

-A long guard that can impact the game from beyond the arc, has extended range, spaces the floor, quick shot.

Oscar Felix Oscar Felix 6'4" | SF White Shield | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’4 SF| White Shield

-A very very good rebounder, good skills & feel, active on both sides of the ball, slasher & versatile finisher at the cup

Josh Hetzel Josh Hetzel 6'2" | SG Stanley | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’0 G| Stanley

-Shot Blue Jays to State last year, All-Region, averaged 13 ppg & hit 52 triples, deadly shooter & lethal at the line.

Jackson Hynek Jackson Hynek 6'2" | SF Stanley | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’2 F| Stanely

-Helped lead the Blue Jays to State, averaged 9 ppg & 7 rpg, very good offensive rebounder, solid all-around player.

Laramie Smith (2023) |6-4 F| Stanley

-Big player for the Region Champs last year, averaged 9 ppg & 5 rpg, physical/strong, finishes well through contact.

Wyatt Caraballo Wyatt Caraballo 6'0" | SG Divide County | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-2 G| Divide County 

-He averaged 12 ppg & 4 rpg last year, good sized & athletic guard, plays hard on both ends, a slashing playmaker.

Jack Zimmer Jack Zimmer 6'1" | PG Kenmare/Bowbells | 2024 State ND (2024) |6’1 G| Kenmare/Bowbells

-All-Region last season & averaged 17 ppg & 4.4 apg, a flat-out bucket-getter! Skilled, will hurt you all over the court.

-Scored 21 ppg last season, very long, big-time shooter from 3pt land, easy/smooth shot, effortless & sets feet quickly.

Maxwell Heen (2024) |5’8 G| Alexander

-He scored 14 ppg as a soph, a smooth PG that stirs the drink for the Comets, has very good ball skills & a bright future.

Zane Soiseth (2024) |5’9 G| Alexander

-He put up 12 ppg last season, the best 3-point shooter for the Comets, teams will need to account for this shooter.

Luke Olson (2023) |6’1 SF| Ray

-He averaged 8 ppg and 6 rpg last season, he can spread the floor & hit the 3, has a quick trigger, has no conscience.
