Julian opened up the season with 20+ points but he looks very impressive as Pocatello puts him all over the floor. Julian had a drop step dunk to start the game off which is very impressive as the 6’3 PG and future Boise State Bronco was in mid-season form. Pocatello looked great and Bowie was the catalyst. Bowie down in the paint is more effective than he gets credit for as he is a matchup nightmare because he is so strong. Many times he can just turn and jump over anyone as he has an unreal vert.

Exlosive player with an explosive game. Marcellus started off the night scoring of of a shifty stop and spin turn around 15-footer. Impressive as that was he was all over the floor. He was running the floor and filling lanes that led to layups and he was hitting from deep as well. This kid is a two sport athlete that was just too fast for anyone to stop on the other end. Could be one of those top notch Class of 2025 guys. Marcellus had 23 points in a big win.
Great first game as the 6’4 F was really putting on a clinic to how to play a big and be undersized yet not get stuck down on the blocks. Ryan did a great job of using his fundamentals boxing out and looking for bodies to cover and when he would rebound he would not wait for a guard to get open he would assess and then bring the ball up the floor himself as he was the one many times to initiate the fast break. Around the rim he was active and finishing. Out in the perimeter he was using solid screens to pick and pop. Good showing and a good win. On defense he can swith 1-5 and he was playing solid defense moving his feet.
