Isaiah Atwater Isaiah Atwater 5'8" | PG Maize South | 2023 State KS – The elusive quick guard with sneaky bounce will look to dominate his senior season and lead his #2 team to state. Atwater will be the head of the snake for this mavericks team. His ability to shoot the 3 from deep, blow by any opponent, and get to his pull-up whenever he wants as well as show off his craftiness at the rim.
Michael Kates Michael Kates 5'9" | PG Maize South | 2024 State KS – Originally went to collegiate, Kates in his second season at maize south will look to capitalize on his career resuming what he started last season. Known to be a lights-out shooter, he’s taken on some ball-handling duties as well as playmaking for others. Kates is as tough as they come on both ends of the floor and I won’t be surprised if he explodes on a couple of possessions really making his name known.
Tory Homan Tory Homan 6'7" | C Maize South | 2024 State KS – The recent commit to Wayne state college, Homan, the 6’7″ big that can stretch the floor, finish above the rim, block shots and run the floor. Tory will be a force to be wrecking with causing a lot of problems for others as he is one of the few bigs in this league at his size and experience.
Jaylen Maze Jaylen Maze 6'1" | PG Northwest | 2023 KS – Jaylen is an athletic guard that brings a lot of versatility to this mavericks team on both ends of the floor. Maze can defend multiple positions with his ability to use his athleticism and wingspan. On the offensive end he is a threat because of his ability to finish at the rim and even above the rim if you arent careful. Maze will look to exploit mismatches against the jaguars to allow him to get easy ones.
Jeron Askren Jeron Askren 6'3" | SG Maize South | 2024 State KS – The multi sport athlete will look to add to what the Mavericks already do really well and that’s spread the floor. Askren fits in the category with everyone else, you can’t leave him open or he will make you pay with knocking it down especially from that corner 3. He catches the ball right in his pocket and he gets his shot off quickly with that high release point. Look for him to space the floor and looking to catch and shoot when his opportunity comes, if you aren’t careful it will come at a timely time for the mavs.
