enters very high
Bennerman makes his way into the rankings at No. 4. I had a chance to see the 6-foot-9 forward over the summer playing for Buckner Elite Basketball Club. He does a great job of contesting shots at the rim and moving his feet on defense. Offensively, he has a soft touch at the rim and does well in post-up situations.
Freeman moves inside the top 20
Freeman is one of the most, relentless guards in this class. Fayette Ware’s product moves up 11 spots to No. 17. The 5-10 point guard sees the floor well and makes the right basketball play each time the ball is in his hands. Freeman does a great job of driving to the basket. He knows how to use his upper body strength to move his defender whenever he wants to get into the lane. Freeman’s physicality on the defensive end will wear down opposing players.
Sam Parson Sam Parson 6'4" | SG Grundy County | 2025 State TN enters the top half
The 6-4 guard was very impressive at Coach K’s Combine last month. Parson isn’t afraid of contact. He can get to his spots on the court. Parson is very efficient from the perimeter as he can make 50 percent of his shots from the field. Parson doesn’t have a lot of athleticism, but he’s a talented guard with potential to have a successful high school basketball career and play collegiate basketball.
Another prospect that was impressive at the showcase event was combo guard Kaleb Jeffries, who debuts at No. 46. Jeffries’ shot has improved. He’s taking a lot of quality shots. Jeffries is one of those prospects that should be a top four option on offense.
Sidney moves inside the top 10
The 6-6 forward moved up one spot to No. 10. Sidney had a productive summer for Team Thad 15U and should have a successful sophomore season at Lipscomb Academy . Sidney can finish at the rim, make shots from the perimeter and contest shots at the rim. He has made strides as a ball handler.
No surprise here
Kris Carroll stays inside the top 10 at No. 8. Carroll is one the best shooters in this class. The 6-5 wing can light it up from deep. It’s safe to say Carroll can easily shoot 40 percent from 3 with his eyes close. Once he improves as a ball handler, Carroll could end up being a top five prospect in this class.
