Jr 2023 6’0 Houston Christian High School
Orlando is one of the best scorers at the guard position I have seen in some time, creating separation with his handle and getting to the rim with ease. He has the ability to wake up and give you thirty on any given night, filling it up from the mid-range and beyond the arc. He is a fearless slasher of the rim, calmly knifing through the defense with his handle and rising up against big with absolutely no fear. His body control at full speed as he is euro stepping his way through the defense is so enjoyable to watch, and his shiftiness allows his defenders to never really get a read on him. Horton is a guard you have got to see in person to believe, his effectiveness as a scorer off the bounce is already at a very elite level. His ball control and calm nature when he has the ball in his hands is truly a joy to watch.
Ty Beston 2023 6’4 St Thomas High School
Ty is a high-level point guard who thrives at finishing in the lane, contorting his body into different positions and finishing at a very high level around the rim with either hand. His natural ability to rise and flip the ball into the cup allows him to be an extremely dynamic and effective guard, knifing through the defense and getting to the rim was never an issue for him and it really opened the rest of the floor for him. He calmy rose from beyond the arc when given the space and time to set his feet and was able to pull up in the mid-range as well. He is an extremely effective offensive weapon who has the awareness and versatility to play at the one or the two. He can create offense or work without the ball, finding success with both play styles.

III 2023 6’5 Beaumount United High School
The University of Washington commit was flat out dominant again, using his size to absorb contact and finish at the rim. He is a flat out dominant offensive weapon who has the ability to get to the rim or pull up from beyond the arc and score across all three levels. Every time I see him in person, I am blown away by the strength he has with a live dribble, bouncing off of defenders to get anywhere he wants with his handle. I love watching him manipulate the defense by getting deep into the paint and firing out the perfect dump off pass or kick out to an open teammate. He is a natural on court leader, calmly directing traffic and instructing his teammates on where to go. He has good shooters all around him ready and waiting to punish the defense for collapsing onto Wesley. Be on the lookout for Wes and the rest of his squad to make a deep playoff push again this year…
Bryce Smith 2023 6’1 Barbers Hill High School
Bryce is a true do it all point guard, who takes what the defense gives him every time down the court. He is a special prospect who always shows off his willingness to attack the rim, score in the mid-range but more importantly defend at a high level, rebound and create offense within the half court or the full court. He is a special prospect who has the right mental attitude to relentlessly attack the defense, but more importantly find his teammates with pinpoint passes. He easily sets up his teammates with shot opportunities in the corners and along the wings, constantly manipulating the defense and then firing the perfect pass out. Smith’s ability to make the right read every time down the court is at an elite level already, and it allows his team to find success after a pinpoint pass found his teammates shooting pockets, allowing them to calmly get shots up like they are in shoot around. Smith’s on court awareness is at an elite level, and he would be a valuable asset in any program he walks into.
