Here at Prep Hoops PA, our updated 2025 rankings dropped on Monday and a variety of talented players are being covered this week. The staff at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania has diligently gathered information and worked extremely hard to develop an extraordinarily comprehensive list of over 325 high school basketball student-athletes. This group of sophomores has the balance of talent to be the most heavily recruited group in a long time throughout the state. Many young men have been in constant communication with college coaches, while a large number of others are starting to garner collegiate attention as well. Listed below are the top 10 skilled performers in the rankings for our current update.
#8….. Alier Maluk Alier Maluk 7'0" | PF Long Island Lutheran | 2025 State #62 Nation NY / 6’9 wing forward / Imani Christian Academy High School / A division 1 recruit who continues to garner attention from many top programs across the country. Alier will be a force in the months to come for his Imani Christian hoop team.

Shamar Simpson Shamar Simpson 6'1" | SF The Neighborhood Academy | 2025 State PA / 6’1 combo guard / The Neighborhood Academy High School / This skilled performer continues to develop a complete all-around game to lead his teammates. Shamar wants the ball in his hands at crunch time to always finish what he started from the jump ball.
#13….. Dame Givner Dame Givner 6'1" | PG Imani Christian Academy | 2025 State PA / 6’0 point guard / Imani Christian Academy High School / An above-average ball handler and passer that makes positive things happen during a contest. Dame is starting to develop a good amount of college interest.

Courtney Wallace Courtney Wallace 6'2" | CG The Neighborhood Academy | 2025 State PA / 6’0 combo guard / The Neighborhood Academy High School / Watch for this quick and athletic player to be a difference maker for his team. Courtney is a hard-working kid with a calm demeanor that makes him a problem for the opponent.
#15….. Jayden Davis Jayden Davis 5'10" | CG Chartiers Valley | 2025 State PA / 5’10 combo guard / Chartiers Valley High School / He puts up big numbers throughout a game understanding how to find the right spot to make baskets. Jayden likes to push the ball in transition which leads to easy baskets for the Colts.
#16….. Zion Moore Zion Moore 6'2" | SF Bellevernon | 2025 State PA / 6’2 wing forward / Ringgold High School / This strong, hard-nosed player never backs down from a challenge. Zion can score in the post and from the perimeter which makes him a difficult player to defend.
#17…..Notorious Groom / 6’0 combo guard / Uniontown High School / His quickness and court vision help create opportunities for not only himself but his teammates. Notorious is always talking and communicating on both ends of the floor to help make his whole team better every game.
#18….. Alonzo Wade Alonzo Wade 6'2" | PF Belle Vernon | 2025 State PA / 6’2 power forward / Belle Vernon High School / He rebounds and blocks shots at a high level every time he steps on the floor. Alonzo likes to crash the boards, especially on offense to get some easy baskets.

Cameron Epps Cameron Epps 5'6" | PG South Allegheny | 2025 State PA / 5’6 point guard / South Allegheny High School / His ability to snatch steals in the half court and full-court set makes him a true leader on the court. Cameron might be on the smaller end, but he plays much bigger with his heart and determination.
#25….. Brady Mayo Brady Mayo 6'0" | CG Beaver | 2025 State PA / 5’11 combo guard / Beaver High School / An above-average scorer with a high basketball IQ that helps him set the tone for the next group of graduates looking to play in college. Brady likes to practice penetration to the lane as well as knocking down the open jumper.
