These players that are selected get to play against other players that are considered good player with promise in Utah. The Top 50 League had a lot of success this year and they have added. new component. Utah Top 50 NXT as they try and track down young talent that is mainly made up of players in the 2026-2024 classes. There are a lot of players that have made their presence known and look to continue to rise. Here is a list of some young talent that played well.
Skyline High School || Landon Shaw Landon Shaw 6'6" | PF Skyline | 2024 State UT || 2024 ||
The Class of 2024 continues to rise as the talent level continues to increase here in Utah. Landon is currently off the radar but the dude has game. He has a strong from at the SF position and he is a player that can finish above the rim in traffic. Got a glimpse of him last year and it was a “who is that” moment. Landon looks to make a name for himself and this platform is helping with that.
Highland High School || Isaiah Drisdom Isaiah Drisdom 6'0" | PG Highland | 2026 State UT || 2025 ||
This kid is ELECTRIC. Sometimes you get a glimpse at how good he is going to be. Highland has one of the top future PG’s in the state. He is going to make a lot of highlights due to that elite handle he has. He is starting to grow more and in time he is going to be an above the rim player as well.
Alta High School || Carter Doleac Carter Doleac 6'8" | PF Alta | 2024 State UT || 2024 ||
Carter is one of those secret weapons that Alta has out there on the Eastside. He has size at around 6’7 and he is composed. Rebounds the ball well and is able to clean the boards up. Really like how Carter doesn’t really force the issue as he lets the game come to him. He runs the floor well and he is a major glue guy that has potential at the next level.
Springville High School || Jamyn Sondrup Jamyn Sondrup 6'10" | C Springville | 2026 State UT || 2026 ||
The anticipation is unreal as we are excited to see Jamyn suit up at the high school level. He was able to hold his own against older players as he played up at the club level. He is a true big man that can punish people in the post. He is still developing which is scary because he is talented. We are thinking from what we saw at the Utah Top 50 NXT is that he is going to be a double double machine. Would not be surprised if he starts his stats that way as a freshman. Stay tuned, he’s got game.
Hunter High School || Dominick Phannolath Dominick Phannolath 5'11" | CG Hunter | 2025 State UT || 2025 ||
Last season we got to see Dominick play on a few games and he is a spark plug. He plays with high energy and poise as his game is mature. He takes what the defense gives him and they often give him space to shoot to not give up drives and he is an excellent shooter. When he does get in the lane he is able to pull at the 25-foot mark and nail those jumpers on the move. Impressive at moving from one direction to another keeping his dribble all while attacking. He does have a good handle and you can see that he has improved even from a stellar season last year. When he is off the ball he is a deadly catch and shoot threat.
