Chhabra is a cagey forward who had a breakout junior year for South Brunswick. One of his top traits is his defense, specifically his rebounding ability and he plays bigger than his height, which will be an asset at the next level. He’s got great understandting of the game and doesn’t force shots. He has range beyond the three point line. Top games as a junior were against South Plainfield(12&14), Perth Amboy(15&10, 20&8) and New Brunswick(20&9). An All-County forward this winter.
Brandon Gasiewski| 6’1” | G | South Amboy
South Amboy has produced its fair share of talent as a school over the years in spite of its small size, specifically so during the time when the legendary George Krzyzanowski was head coach. Gasiewski is a long guard who can light it up from beyond the arc. Hit 62 threes as a junior and went for 27 against Wardlaw. Like the other South Amboy players of note before him, he’d be a good fit at a D3 program. Also plays baseball.

Taylor is very athletic and a tough rebounder on both ends of the court. He’s a rugged post player with good moves around the rim. His top performance of the season was a 20-20 outing in a win over Sayreville. He also had 12&10 vs St Thomas Aquinas.
Tareak Williams | 5’11” | G | South Plainfield
Williams, like his teammate Brandon Dean Brandon Dean 5'10" | PG South Plainfield | 2024 NLG , is a bit under the radar. He attacks the basket with force and is also a good facilitator as a backcourt leader. He can create his own shot and is a tough on ball defender. His best outings as a junior were against Bridgewater and Spotswood(16 in both) and he also had a good game vs talented Saint Joe’s of Metuchen(14). Williams college trajectory will be heavily influenced by his senior season. He and Dean, along with classmate Michael Mendez(5’10” guard who had several nice games, including 19 vs West Morris and 15 vs Bridgewater) form one of the best returning units at a GMC public school–Their guard play alone could carry them into the GMC Quarters and deep in the sectional tournament.

A talented multi-sport athlete who will be a prized football recruit. Jones uses that athleticism from the football field to his advantage on the hardwood. He’s a pest on defense as he uses his d-back skills to read passes on the floor and pick them off. He can push the tempo in transition and is unafraid of contact around the rim. Dished out 10 assists in a state playoff win over Mendham and had 12 points in the season ending loss to Ramapo. Should be poised for a breakout junior campaign on an always tough Colonia squad.
