Dontrez Williams (Sikeston): The athletic 6’4″ 2024 guard from the SEMO area was one of the most talented players that I saw at the event. He was making impact plays at both ends of the court throughout the day. He was disruptive on defense with steals and deflections, plus he also blocked multiple shots. On offense, he was scoring at all three levels with slashing drives and perimeter jumpers. He was also making nice passes to open teammates for buckets.
Kanyon Hummel Kanyon Hummel 6'9" | PF Rock Bridge | 2023 State MO (Rock Bridge): The 6’9″ 2023 forward is an active big who was posting up strong in the paint and making touch catches and finishing in traffic. He was very good on the roll down in the pick and roll to score on the move. He also stepped out and hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key. He was active on the boards and he blocked shots on defense.
Parker Seithel (Rockhurst): A 6’7″ 2026 forward who was very impressive with his versatility and overall skill set on the perimeter. He plays the Stretch 4 role perfectly with his ability to knock down 3-pointers off the pick and pop. He hit four triples in the game that I watched hm. He also displayed his skill when he grabbed a rebound and took it coast to coast for a layup. He passes the ball well and he has a nice touch around the basket.
Jaylen Calloway Jaylen Calloway 6'0" | PG Parkway South High | 2023 State MO (Parkway South): A 6’1″ combo guard who is an effective playmaker and a talented scoring threat on offense. His burst was excellent to get into the lane to score on his runners and short jumpers. He did a nice job of pushing the tempo with his speed in the open court. He can also create his shot very well with his smooth handles and escape moves.
Adyn Kleinheider Adyn Kleinheider 6'3" | SF Washington | 2024 State MO (Washington): A 6’3″ 2024 wing who made quite an impression on me with his offensive ability. He has a strong body and he was very assertive, which netted positive results. He was hitting the Corner 3-pointer and he scored on some tough takes in the lane. He also made a nice long distance bounce pass to a running teammate which really got my attention.
Abraham Nayou Abraham Nayou 6'0" | PG Maplewood Richmond Heights | 2026 State MO (Maplewood): A 5’11” 2026 point guard who could play fast, but was also under control at all times. He was very effective at breaking down defenders with a variety of moves, plus being left-handed also worked to his advantage. He could blow by his defender with his speed or he could freeze a defender with a hesi move on his way to a layup in the lane. He could also knock down the open perimeter jumper.
Brady Thompson Brady Thompson 6'4" | C Kingston | 2026 State MO (Kingston): A 6’4″ 2026 combo forward who goes about his business with an old-school flair. He operates well in the low post with a variety of ways to score, which includes good footwork. He makes good use of head and shoulder fakes so he could score over either shoulder. He can also step and out hit a perimeter jumper and he looked comfortable handling the ball when he had the opportunity.
Josh Bartig Josh Bartig 6'2" | PG Orchard Farm | 2023 MO (Orchard Farm): A 6’2″ 2023 wing who is a scrappy player with a high motor. He was constantly moving and hustling and crashing the offensive boards, where he got multiple putbacks. He always seemed like he was in the middle of the action.
