Texas Top 250 Expo- 2025 Combo Guards

Yocom is quickly turning heads and rising in the rankings with his stellar play from beyond the arc, his shiftiness with a live dribble and how easily in which he can manipulate the defense. He is an aggressive playmaker with the ability to take you off the bounce or spot up from around the arc and punish you from range. His consistency beyond the arc was incredible, if you gave him a step to set his feet and were not immediately in his face when he caught the ball it was going in. He is already threatening that coveted fourth level of the defense with consistency, and is an elite shooter from NBA range already. Yocom was also a massive contributor for his high school team last year, showing off his versatility on offense and his ability to lock up defensively and take the ball from his opponents. I loved his aggressiveness, constantly getting two feet into the paint. He is effective both on the break and within the half court, using his explosiveness with a live dribble and quickness out of the triple threat to turn the corner on his opponents. He has an array of lanky finishes he can get to, using his length and leaping ability to get an extra inch or two on his layup packages. He is a confident shooter off the bounce, scoring at will from beyond the arc and in the mid-range after threatening the defense and putting pressure on the interior. I would like to see him continue to work on his creation out of the pick and roll and keeping his head up for the weak side rotation being a step late. He consistently got into the paint and used his strength and frame to bounce off of contact and finish at the rim. He is a strong weapon in transition who easily gets to the basket and uses his size to finish on either side of the rim. I was very impressed by his incredible quickness and how well he was able to move up and down the floor, both with and without the ball! He has elite end to end speed, allowing him to wreak havoc on both ends of the court. His aggressiveness on the defensive end was solid, consistently getting underneath his opponent's skin with his lateral foot speed. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552868' first='Tyler' last='Henry'] </strong>2025 5'7 Tyler Legacy High School </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_63405f49d34a8","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1552868"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /--> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tyler is a skilled scorer off the bounce, with an ability to get to his shot across all three levels of the floor. He showed versatility and an ability to score off the catch as well, running the baseline and coming off of pin downs. I loved watching his awareness with the ball, he took defenders off the bounce when they began to close out hard on him, or quickly got his shot up if the defense did not contest him immediately off the catch. He has enough skill and versatility to become a high level scorer. I would like to see him continue to work on his athleticism and lateral speed. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
