Prep Hoops Season Predictions:
Great Falls – The Red Devils last won a State Championship was in March 2020 right before Covid hit – Can they do it again this year?
CA Johnson HS – The Hornets will be in contention here that’s for sure. Head Coach Tyrell Manning will have them ready to play.
Lewisville HS – New Coach this season for the Lions who finished (2-15) last year.
Governor School – No idea what to expect out of the Hartsville based school.
McBee HS – The Panthers will fight for a playoff position and might be led by a very young D.J. Harper.
Tydriez has been a staple here for the Red Devils since the last State Championship run in 2020. Coleman is the ultimate run-jump-athlete who can cover a lot of ground on the floor. He has the ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor while running the floor in transition and filling the lane on the offensive end.
Look for him to have a big season and maybe get the Red Devils back to the State Championship come March 2023.
Christian will run the show this coming season for the Red Devils. Fair is a table setter and a pass first point guard from out top. Christian makes good reads and rarely turns the ball over.
Fair is another piece to the Red Devils roster to get familiar with this season. Aaden can really knockdown shots out on the perimeter with his quick shot release and accuracy from behind the three-point line.
Moore is just one of the Moore brothers on this Hornets roster. Johwon and Javeon will give Head Coach Tyrell Manning some experience on this Hornets roster. Johwon is a left-handed guard with a pretty solid mid-range pull-up game. He really looks to bring the pressure on the ball while on the defensive end of the floor.
Watch out for the Hornets this season to make noise in the Class A ranks.
D.J. Harper is a name to follow moving forward for the McBee HS Panthers down the road. Harper will look to be the centerpiece of this program in the years to come. Harper is currently playing football this fall for the Panthers.
