Thomas is our #1 player in the class, and one of the top overall players in the Nation regardless of class. Cerbral doesn’t begin to describe his IQ, as he has an instinctual feel for the game. The lefty, is one of the most efficient players, I’ve had a chance to evaluate, with the ability to get by opponents off 1 or two bounces or hit deep threes when given space.
Highlights
Top two players in our class our lefties, but Richardson’s game is a bit different from Thomas. He’s one of the best high flying PG’s in the country with the ability to make explosive plays above the rim. He’s really improved his shooting, to the point to where he can be dangerous as a floor spacer in catch and shoot situations, and coming off screens.
Highlights
Mobley has the wiggle and shake reminencent of several successful NBA guards including Steph Curry and Trae Young. He can get anywhere he wants on the floor with his handle, however it is his ability to shoot the ball from a variety of angles that make him special. A high valued recruit, Mobley has recently narrowed his list down to his final 6.
Highlights
Adem may be the most skilled offensive player in the class. Offensively he has no weakness. The PG is a sensational talent with the ability to create for himself or teammates. He possesses a variety of finishing moves around the rim, including runners and floaters with both hands. Perhaps his best trait is his ability to shoot it off the bounce, from distance.
Highlights
Not usually thought of as a PG, Castillero has shown recently that he can do more than shoot it. The PG has the ability to get to the cup off the bounce, and enough speed to get out and finish in transition. At the end of the day, his bread an butter is his strap. Castillero is one of the top knock down shooters in the state.
Highlights
Aquiningoc is one of the most underatted floor generals in the state. He has all the skills to be successful, including the ability to shoot it, handle and finish. He does this with a flair and confidence that makes him standout. He played really well this summer, and is a player that I have tabbed for a huge breakout season at Faith Lutheran this year.
