Kai Wesley Kai Wesley 6'8" | PF Orem | 2026 State UT || Orem High School || 2026 ||
Kai is coming along nicely. It seems like he is in full basketball mode right now because you can see that consistent play. In the post he is really using that length. Although he is just an incoming freshman he does a great job of holding his own against players that are 3 years older. When he gets some more mass and gets more physical he is going to be a force. Played well this weekend.
Rahiti Tinirauarii || Juan Diego Catholic || 2026 ||
With a few freshman on the team that seem to be playing well Rahiti seems to be the one that shows a little bit of everything as a player that you might see improve moving forward. He has some size and he is strong. Has a developing handle but at his level he can get by defenders, He is active on the glass and he makes plays happen. Good all-around player that could rise up the depth chart at his school.
Hunter Jackson Hunter Jackson 6'3" | PG Woods Cross | 2025 State UT || Woods Cross High School || 2025 ||
Hunter is really hitting that next level. He is working hard to get to his spots and when he does he is effective. Woods Cross could put him on the ball and he can help create and facilitate for his teammates or off the ball he can make things happen as well. That mid-range is looking really good.
Waris Njoya || Northstar Prep || Canada || 2025 ||
This young stocky PG from Canada was really making plays and things happen for his team. He does not play like a sophomore. He is a bulldozer in the lane as he bounces off of defenders and finds ways to finish. He was hitting three-pointers as well. This kid has speed as he beat almost all defenders in a sprint with the ball in his hands. He is scrappy on defense as he stays active with his hands and he moves his feet well too.
Tyler Mortensen Tyler Mortensen 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2026 State UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2026 ||
Tyler is showing a lot of promise. He was playing on one of the varsity teams and he seemed a bit passive but he showed that he has the talent and ability to hand with the big boys. He moves well and he defends the ball with that footwork but he also shows some upper body strength. When he does attack he has a quick first step and he makes some solid moves that allow him to get that mid-range jumper off or get to his float game. His outside shooting is good as he displays great form. This kid has a shot, keep an eye on him as he still has a lot of room to grow. Will likely end up being 6’6.
