Georgia Top 250 Expo: 2023 Standouts

Ryan Mobley, Jr Ryan Mobley, Jr 6'2″ | CG Spencer | 2023 State GA was one of the most consistent players of the day, largely in part because his style of play relies on defense and toughness rather than anything else. He looked good on the drive and had no problems taking smaller guards to the hole. He was also very active on the defensive end, causing opposing guards to tuhe ball over time and time again. Mobley Jr. is a strong, physical guard out of Spencer High that could definitely pickup some late offers.

Parrish Johnson Parrish Johnson 6'5″ Kell High | 2023 GA could have very well been the best defender in the gym on Saturday. The senior guard out of Kell managed to standout all day, despite playing his role selflessly. Prior to Saturday, I was naive to Johnson’s passing ability but he showed some really impressive court vision and setup several teammates for easy buckets. Johnson’s game will translate well at the next level so it’ll be interesting to see where he ultimately lands.

Albert Wilson Albert Wilson 6'6″ | PF North Cobb Christian | 2023 State GA looked like his typical self on Saturday, dominating each game with his combination of skill and power. Wilson was effective both inside and out. He connected on several triples when given space and took advantage of smaller defenders around the basket. Wilson has been steadily dominant in his high school years and I expect nothing less from his senior season.

Keshaun Pace Keshaun Pace 6'2″ | CG Carrollton | 2023 State GA certainly made his presence known on Saturday, scoring from all over the court and finishing several dunks above the rim. Rarely do you find a 2-guard that plays above the rim like Pace does. The rest of his game is polished, yet there’s still room for him to grow. Pace was the hot commodity of his ENG United team this summer and should be in for a big year at Carrolton. He’ll definitely be a 2023 to keep an eye on late in the recruiting process.

Harrison Boadu Harrison Boadu 6'4″ | SF Northview | 2023 State GA was undoubtedly one of the most impressive seniors at the camp and he produced at a high level all morning long. Boadu has the ideal body for a next-level wing at a sturdy 6’5 and there’s still lots of untapped potential. He scored the ball efficiently, making the most of his touches and shooting it well from 3. He’s a rangy, aggressive defender that can switch onto bigger or smaller players. I’d consider Harrison Boadu Harrison Boadu 6'4″ | SF Northview | 2023 State GA as a serious sleeper in the 2023 class.
