Holding some of the top prospects in the country, Massachusetts is a breeding ground for high-level basketball talent. With that being said, let’s take a look at some of those highly-talented players.
The first spot not just in Massachusetts but in all of New England for 2023 is none other than Duke-bound wing TJ Power TJ Power 6'8" | SF Worcester Academy | 2023 State #56 Nation NLG , the Worcester Academy player. He possesses great offensive versatility, and brings great instincts and rebounding defensively. Tre Norman Tre Norman 6'3" | CG Worcester Academy (MA) | 2023 State #174 Nation NLG , Power’s lead guard at Worcester Academy, is seventh on the list. The Marquette commit is a physical, strong guard that’s flashed an excellent feel for the game.
Cushing Academy and Santa Clara commit Luke McEldon Luke McEldon 6'8" | C Potomac School | 2023 #239 Nation NLG is at fourteen. He’s a big man who can really score but has also flashed an ability to bolster an offense. A spot below McEldon is Jordan Clayton Jordan Clayton 6'2" | CG Bradford Christian Academy | 2023 State NLG , a Bradford Christian Academy and Mass Rivals product that’s heading to Northwestern. He’s got a great feel for the game but is equally able to score off-ball.
The first Rivers School product on this list is Jayden Ndjigue Jayden Ndjigue 6'4" | CG Rivers School | 2023 State NLG . He’s a solid perimeter defender who’s great at guarding multiple positions. Right after Ndjigue is Joe Nugent Joe Nugent 6'5" | SF Tabor Academy | 2023 State NLG at nineteen. The Holy Cross-bound Nugent is one of the better shooters in New England. He’s got a smooth release, excellent mechanics, and can do it all from a shooting perspective.
Rounding out the top-30 are two Cushing Academy products with Adrian Uchidiuno Adrian Uchidiuno 6'3" | PG Cushing Academy | 2023 State NLG at 27th and Marvin Musiime-Kamali Marvin Musiime-Kamali 6'6" | SF Cushing Academy | 2023 State NLG at 31st. Uchidiuno, the Brown-bound prospect, is an athletic guard that’s capable of scoring in bunches. Musiime-Kamali, playing for Middlesex Magic on the AAU circuit, is a lengthy wing that rebounds, scores in transiton, and defends well.
