Kenwood Head Coach Chase Cronin added a 6-foot-5 transfer from Pearl-Cohn. “We just got him [Jacoby],” said Coach Cronin Monday evening. “Today was our first look at him. He is athletic. He can shoot.”

. The sophomore will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL. Coach Cronin labeled him the “best defender in the city, I think.” The team will be unable to replace that intensity individually. It will take many.
Dowell averaged 3.5 points per game last year.
Northwest
Northwest added a 6-foot-6 player in the final days of October, and any 6-foot–6 player, at a minimum, noteworthy. Brandon Parker moved in town from South Carolina. “He will help,” said Northwest Head Coach Thomas Stanley. “For sure.”
Candidate for All-District Tacarey Monday Tacarey Monday 6'0" | PG Clarksville Nortwest | 2024 State TN is a returning starter. Monday did struggle with turnovers from time to time in 2021-2022, but his potential was plain to see. College coaches are becoming increasingly aware of the speedy right-handed guard. “Austin Peay had him for an unofficial visit,” shared Coach Stanley. “Morehead [State] is coming soon. He is special.”
Coach Stanley believes Monday gained 10-12 pounds in the last five months, all muscle. Tacarey is approximately 6-foot-0 tall.

is a wonderfully poised freshman. “I had him all summer. I got to spend this summer with him. He did well. He did really well. Started some of the games for us this summer when Monday rolled an ankle. He wasn’t scared at all, stepped right in, and handled business for us. He might be 5’11”.
Terrance Bellamy sustained an injury during football season and will likely make his season debut in December.

Dickson County
Dickson County named a new coach just this month at perhaps the oddest time of the year for a hire. Jay Powlas will lead the According to the Dickson Post, Powlas hired Joey Banks and Kyle Schreiber for his assistant coaches. Coach Powlas knows the landscape wonderfully, already serving as Dickson County High School Athletic Director.
The Cougars of Dickson County finished with only three wins last season, two of those over Hickman County. The season prior Dickson County won just five games.
