Paul Anderson Paul Anderson 6'3" | SG South County | 2023 State VA | wing | South County ’23
The Stallions are rolling like a well-oiled machine this preseason, and Anderson’s presence is a huge reason. He is a reliable two-way player for Coach Mike Robinson Mike Robinson 6'4" | SF South County | 2026 State VA . Anderson’s ability to lock down elite-level wings should keep the Stallions competitive in most games.
Teyvien Barbour Teyvien Barbour 6'5" | SG Patriot (VA) | 2024 State #298 Nation VA | wing | Osbourn ’24
The only junior on this list, our hopes are high for Barbour this season. With an offer list approaching double-digits, he is reaching unprecedented territory for a public school player. Barbour is a pretty safe bet to put up big numbers. If he can lead his team to a respectable record, he will surely earn consideration for this honor.
Margad Choijilsuren Margad Choijilsuren 6'4" | CG Fairfax | 2023 State VA | guard | Fairfax ’23
Choijilsuren is seasoned, now entering his fourth year of varsity hoops. He has shown improvement each year and will have more responsibility than ever. Expect a productive senior campaign and a potential All-Met nod for Choijilsuren
Gibraltar Coleman Gibraltar Coleman 6'6" | PF Flint Hill | 2023 State VA | forward | Flint Hill ’23
Coleman bet on himself by reclassing into 2023. He received dividends from that decision upon accepting a scholarship offer to American University. Now that his recruitment is under wraps, Coleman will be playing with the freedom of a committed senior. Massive numbers are in store for this sharpshooting forward.
Nasir Coleman | guard | Patriot ’23
Coleman was a candidate for the All-Met First Team as a junior. He returns to this list as we anticipate big things once again from the Pioneers this year. The leadership intangibles Coleman brings to this team are indispensable. He is an extension of the coaching staff and a fierce competitor.
Jayden Harris Jayden Harris 6'8" | SG Potomac Va | 2023 State VA | wing | Potomac ’23
There is a world in which Jayden Harris Jayden Harris 6'8" | SG Potomac Va | 2023 State VA leads the DMV in scoring. The sharpshooting lefty is a bonafide three-level bucket-getter with top-tier athleticism. Could Harris be in store for a special season?
Buom Jock Buom Jock 6'5" | SF Episcopal | 2023 VA | wing | Episcopal ’23
Though he has committed to Colorado State for football, Jock remains an impact player for the Maroon on the hardwood. An All-IAC talent, he is one of the better players in the conference who will be a threat to score in double-figures each time he hits the court.
Jamison Lynam Jamison Lynam 5'9" | PG South County | 2023 State VA | guard | South County ’23
Lynam’s contributions to South County should not be overlooked. Not only is he willing to hound his opponent for 94 feet defensively on the ball, but he can handle it under pressure and is not afraid to take big shots in key moments. If the Stallions make a run, Lynam will have been on his A-game.
Sam Whitehead Sam Whitehead 6'3" | SG Stone Bridge | 2023 State VA | wing | Stone Bridge ’23
Whitehead averaged scoring numbers in the upper teens as a junior. Could that number cross the 20-point barrier as a senior? Perhaps. The Bulldogs’ star swingman will be one of the premier players to watch in Loudoun County this season.
Khalil Williams Khalil Williams 6'5" | SG Potomac (McLean, VA) | 2023 State VA | guard | Potomac School ’23
Williams has long been considered one of the top players in the MAC. He was one of the first names jotted down when making this list. Look for the lefty to be among the area’s leaders in made threes, and mix in a few posters along the way.
