Jayden proved to everyone that he can shoot the ball from anywhere when he crosses half-court off the bounce or off the catch. To go with his smooth jump shot, he has an elite handle that can get him to any spot on the court he wants. In the showcase at Okun Fieldhouse, Brown started his first game out hitting 4 3s in a row before the double teams came. Brown will be one to watch in the class of 2025, he has the complete package as a PG.
Corbin Johnson Corbin Johnson 6'4" | PG Kapaun Mt Carmel | 2025 State KS – To no surprise, Corbin is a shooter in any gym he goes to. We’ve watched him hit game-winners in the summer off of down screens when his team needed him the most. This morning we watched him airball his first three and sink the next 6, this is just how hot Johnson can get. Corbin isn’t just a set shooter, he is comfortable shooting an off-balance shot or creating for his teammates who can also hit the 3. Corbin is a impactful player in any system he plays in.
Spencer Hecht Spencer Hecht 6'2" | SG Wamego | 2024 KS – Spencer, coming from a 3 point shooting family continues that tradition of his own. Hecht is no stranger to the 3 point line, shooting consistently 3 for 3 in his AAU games and is consistently doing it throughout these showcases. Today he’s shown the same thing, on top of his off ball movement, his footwork to get into his shot is extremely fluid, has a nice release and finishes up top over the defense.
Javonte Woolery- Woolery got going early this morning at 9am off the bounce into his mid range jumper. he was so good to watch showcasing his ability to bump off the contact and shoot his jumper over the top of defenders while fading. After hitting these a couple of times, he quickly took a heat check and for good reason, drains the transition 3 pointer with no emotion. Javonte showed his athletcism on the defensive as well that led him into the his jumpers in transition.
Ryle Riddlesperger Ryle Riddlesperger 6'2" | PG Hugoton | 2023 State KS – Ryle loves to score in a variety of ways and he plays at such a great pace. His shooting ability is from inside and out is a lethal weapon that he continues to work on and grow as his strength. His soft shooting touch allows him to score off of floaters, drifters and in multiple different ways to help his team win. Its easy to defend players that like to gun in iso situations but Ryle makes you work by getting his in the flow of his offense. Even in showcase games like these where its hard to find a flow, Ryle seems to raise his team offense IQ ability to another level with the way they score efficiently in a timely manner. Step backs, side steps, pull ups, he is an experience scorer and will be able to take this to the next level at whatever school gets him.
