Holmes-Cotter is the leading returning scorer in the Shore Conference and should have another strong season this winter. The 6’6 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and can finish through contact. Holmes-Cotter has a nice touch around the basket and can knock down open shots in the mid-range. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Holmes-Cotter is a physical forward prospect who should be an All-Shore candidate this season.
Amar Lane Amar Lane 6'6" | PF Quality Academy Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’8 Quality Academy Prep
Lane is an intriguing forward prospect to watch as he can impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’8 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks and baskets in transition. Lane is able to draw contact down low consistently and is developing his range on the offensive end. He is an elite rim protector as he uses his combination of size, length, athleticism and timing to swat shots around the basket. Lane’s ability to influence shots around the basket is something that will help his stock in a big way this winter.
Brendan Shannon Brendan Shannon 6'7" | PF Haddon Heights | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 Haddon Heights
Shannon had a strong junior campaign for the Garnets and should have an even better senior season. The 6’7 forward has a good touch around the basket and can finish through contact in the paint. Shannon is comfortable playing on the perimeter as he can put the ball on the floor and hit jumpers on the perimeter. He runs the floor hard and rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor. Shannon is a tough forward prospect who should be a double-double machine in 2022-23.
Robert Eaves Robert Eaves 6'5" | PF Hightstown | 2023 State NJ , 6’5 Hightstown
Eaves will be the go-to guy down low for the Rams as he is in store for a monster senior campaign. The 6’5 forward has great hands as he catches everything thrown his way and has a soft touch around the basket. Eaves has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He is a force on the glass at both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Eaves is a skilled power forward prospect who will be one to watch in Mercer County all season.
Delroy Smith Delroy Smith 6'7" | PF Hillside | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 Hillside
Smith is a breakout candidate to watch as he should get more touches on the offensive end this season for the Comets. The 6’7 forward is a solid finisher around the basket and is able to get position down low. Smith is good in the pick and pop game as he sets good screens in the half court and can knock down shots from behind the arc. He is a solid rebounder and an underrated defender. Smith’s ability to stretch the floor along with his rebounding is something that will help his game in a big way.
