Ermal Kuci Ermal Kuci 6'5" | SF Lodi | 2023 State NJ | 6’5” | F| Lodi
The NJIC doesn’t get as much attention in the talent packed Garden State but always has a good crop of college players. Their 2023s are rock solid and Kuci is among the top returnees at forward positions. Kuci is a physical player who can handle the ball and runs the floor well. He’s also shown the ability to shoot in the mid range. A smart basketball mind and a solid rebounder. He posted a number of double-doubles as a junior, averaging 12&11. D3 programs should have high interest in him.
Lazaro Rodriguez Lazaro Rodriguez 6'4" | SF South River | 2023 State NJ | 6’4” | F| South River
Rodriguez is the heartbeat of the Rams program as they head into one of their most hyped seasons in program history. A crafty wing who can break down defenders with the ball , run the floor in transition and finish strong at the rim. He’s also a versatile forward who can play with his back to the hoop. He’s a tough rebounder and on ball defender. He’ll likely cross 1,000 pts on opening night. He should be highly sought after by academic D3 programs. He carries a high GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. He had 23 vs South Brunswick and 19 vs South Plainfield last winter.
Roman Santos Roman Santos 6'5" | SF South River | 2023 State NJ | 6’5” | F| South River
South River is going to be exciting to watch this year and Santos will be amongst the senior leaders. He averaged 15 PPG as a junior and is a strong bodied forward who can take players to the perimeter and break them down but also battle on the low block. D3 schools should be paying attention to him and he’ll be part of a very balanced Rams team that has 5 college ballplayers in the starting lineup.
Precise Clark Precise Clark 6'8" | PF Paramus Catholic | 2023 NJ | 6’8′ | F| Paramus Catholic
Clark is a rugged forward with a physical frame. He’s a brusier of a post player who can utilize solid footwork on the low block with soft hands to be effective. A tenacious rebounder, he also runs the floor well for a big man. He’s a scholarship level forward without question. He had a fantastic game vs Teaneck(25&15) and also had 18&10 vs East Orange among solid performances all throughout the year. He also blocked nearly 80 shots…A defensive beast.
Harmehar Chhabra Harmehar Chhabra 6'5" | PF South Brunswick | 2023 State NJ | 6’5” | F| South Brunswick
Chhabra plays for a very good HS program at South Brunswick and also played AAU with high level Team Rio this year. A skilled rebounder who also plays bigger than his size on the low block. He’s got a good basketball IQ. Crafty offensive player who can hit shots from the outside to bring slower defenders out to the perimeter and then beat them to the bucket with a good first step but can also play with his back to the basket. He had good games vs South Plainfield(12&14) and New Brunswick(20&9). He’s got an opportunity to be a first team all GMC player this winter and colleges should be paying attention to him.
