10)
Sean Donovan
Sean
Donovan
6'7" | C
W.T. Woodson | 2024
State
VA
| 6’7” WT Woodson (#43 Overall)

Donovan is a name that’s starting to get recognized in Northern VA as the 6’7” big man has the size, strength and versatility to be a difference maker on both ends of the floor. He’s strong in the post with the ball and can score it through traffic, he can step outside where he can make shots out to the three-point line and defensively he contests shots well in the paint and rebounds well in traffic as well.
9)
Ben Nacey

Nacey
6'9" | PF
Cox | 2024
State
VA
| 6’7” Cox (#42 Overall)

Nacey could be a front runner for Beach District Player of the Year this season, as there aren’t going to be many bigs that can matchup with him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he averaged a double-double this season. He continues to grow and seems to get taller and taller every day, he knows his game and plays to his strengths, he seals and finishes well around the rim and gets extra opportunities on the glass and he hits his free throws consistently.
8) Abu Yarmah Abu Yarmah 6'5" | PF Patrick-Henry (Roanoke) | 2024 State VA | 6’6” Patrick-Henry (Roanoke) (#40 Overall)
The could be the year that Yarmah moves up in the rankings and it could be in the next rankings that he ends up as a small forward as he has really improved his ability to handle the ball and create for himself and others. At 6’6” he’s wiry and bouncy and plays with a good motor running the floor and finishing above the rim, he has improved in his perimeter skillset as a shooter and ball handler and he has big time potential defensively.
7)
Nijel Howard

Howard
6'6" | PF
Fairfax Christian | 2024
State
VA
| 6’6” Fairfax Christian (#39 Overall)

Howard is really starting to turn the corner for Fairfax Christian and becoming much more consistent, and his versatility and upside is really what stands out for him. As a power forward Howard is still growing and has long arms to challenge shots and rebound, he’s comfortable on the perimeter as a shot maker and a screener and he’s mobile enough to get up and down the floor and moves his feet pretty well defensively.
6) Elijah Flowers Elijah Flowers 6'5" | PF Potomac School | 2024 State VA | 6’5” Potomac School (#35 Overall)
Flowers may be a little undersized at the position but there aren’t many that can stop him from being productive as a usual double-double guy who brings it on both ends of the floor. He’s a strong and powerful athlete who can bully other big men in the paint, he can explode and finish at the rim and rebounds well on both ends of the floor and he has a budding skillset that is only getting better as time goes on.
5) Quinn Gorman | 6’7” Flint Hill (#17 Overall)

Gorman could end up as the sleeper of this class because in the right system and the right fit he could excel with his versatility and perimeter skillset. At 6’7” he’s a perimeter oriented big who can handle it in the open floor and make plays for himself and others, he can step out where he’s a good shooter and is consistent from deep, he’s an athletic finisher around the rim on cuts and in transition and he’s a lefty which makes him awkward to guard.
4) Garrett Sundra Garrett Sundra 6'11" | C Paul VI | 2024 State VA | 6’8” Paul VI (#10 Overall)
Sundra just continues to improve and while he may never be the go-to guy on this loaded PVI team he shows flashes of brilliance which is why he has a lot of the top mid major schools already offered and many high majors watching closely. He’s really grown into his body and he’s much more coordinated and fluid than he was a year ago, he runs the floor hard and is a big time athlete who can finish above the rim in transition on lobs and when he runs wide and in the half court he can knock down shots from deep and is a good screener too.
3)
Eli DeLaurier
Eli
DeLaurier
6'8" | C
Miller School | 2024
State
#173
Nation
VA
| 6’8” Miller School (#7 Overall)

Delaurier is a prospect whose stock just keeps going up, up, up as he has been much more consistent recently and has had big time showings in a number of high level events since the summer. The 6’8” power forward is exactly what you want in the new age as he’s perfect for a five out system with his ability to shoot and pass on the perimeter, he runs the floor hard and is extremely mobile and his feet are getting quicker as he grows into his body, he’s tough and physical and will play through anything and it’s all starting to click for him right now.
2)
Patrick Ngongba
Patrick
Ngongba
6'10" | C
Paul VI | 2024
State
#97
Nation
VA
| 6’10” Paul VI (#6 Overall)

While the last couple of names have all been new age four men who get up and down and thrive on the perimeter, Ngongba is a little more of a throwback style big who gets the job done in the paint but also has some new age to him as he can stretch the floor and is a good passer as well. He has excellent hands and feet in the post as he can seal and catch tough entry passes and has a number of moves and counters to those moves, he’s a monster on the glass on both ends but especially on the offensive end where he gets great position and can keep plays alive and he has soft touch with both hands around the rim and in traffic.
1)
Jadyn Harris
Jadyn
Harris
6'6" | PF
Bishop O'Connell | 2024
State
VA
| 6’6” Bishop O’Connell (#4 Overall)

While Harris originally had enrolled in Long Island Lutheran outside of New York, he moved back and enrolled back at O’Connell where he’ll be one of the top forwards in the WCAC and could have a breakout season this year. The 6’6” forward is super versatile and a mismatch nightmare as he is strong enough to bang in the post and get extra opportunities on the glass, he can go out on the perimeter where he can put it on the deck against slower and bigger defenders, he can make shots from deep and in the mid-post and he plays with a good motor and very physical making him a nightmare to matchup with.
