10) Ty Campbell Ty Campbell 5'9" | CG George Wythe (Whytheville) | 2024 State VA | 5’10” George Wythe (Wytheville) (#81 Overall)
Campbell could have been listed with the point guards as he almost always plays on the basketball, but the 5’10” guard is also a guy who can step off the ball and knock down shots from deep. He’s an ultra competitor who doesn’t let his size dictate his game, he is surprisingly quick off the bounce and changes speeds well and he brings it on both ends of the floor every time he steps on.
9) Cam Sampson Cam Sampson 6'0" | CG Clover Hill | 2024 State VA | 6’1” Clover Hill (#79 Overall)
Sampson is an up and coming name in the Richmond area as the 6’1” combo should have a breakout year for a Clover Hill team that could surprise some people. He’s the type of guard that comes at you over and over again and can get hot quickly, he fills it up in bunches and can score it from all three levels and when he’s matched up in a close contest he seems to always step up.
8) Nyshon Claude Nyshon Claude 6'0" | CG King's Fork | 2024 State VA | 6’0” King’s Fork (#78 Overall)
Claude is part of a young core of King’s Fork players that will need to step up and bring it this year and he showed in session one of the Fall Series he may just be ready. The 6’0” combo has a strong frame and he’s able to mix it up in the paint as a rebounder, he can get downhill and finish around the rim and he’s willing to do the little things to help his team win.
7) Patrick Nguyen Patrick Nguyen 6'1" | CG Seton | 2024 State VA | 6’1” Seton School (#77 Overall)
Nguyen is one of the most underrated guards in the DMV as the 6’1” combo can do a little bit of everything and is a highly skilled and smart guard. He doesn’t get sped up and gets his team into sets regularly, he has a great IQ and makes the right plays more often than not and he can knock down shots when he needs to while also setting the tone defensively.
6) Tony Goodman Tony Goodman 6'0" | CG Manor | 2024 State VA | 6’0” Manor (#65 Overall)
Goodman is the type of player you love on your high school team as he’s as tough as they come and he can fill it up in bunches. At 6’0” he plays like he’s shot out of a cannon and brings a competitive chip on both ends of the floor, he can get hot quickly and is an aggressive scorer from multiple levels and he can defend both on the ball and in help side as well.
