We had some of the best players in the class there competing, and we will highlight each and every one of them with our evaluations this week. Today, we will look at all of the prospects from Team 6.
Middlebrooks is a 2024 wing who was on the attack all weekend long. He is a strong finisher inside, and he will have a big chance to step up for Westfield this season.
Highlights
Young is a smart 2023 point guard who looked really impressive on Saturday. He moves well without the ball in his hands, and he can see the openings on the floor. Young is also incredibly tough and isn’t afraid of contact or fighting on glass with the bigs inside.
Highlights
Scarrette is a smaller 2025 point guard who is very quick with the ball in his hands. He also handles the ball incredibly well. Definitely has potential as a pass-first point guard.
Turner is a tough 2023 point guard who ran the offense well on Saturday. He is a good passer and seemed to always get the ball where it needed to go.
Meyer is a 2025 shooting guard who shot it well on Saturday. He was mostly a spot-up guys on the outside who looked good when he got it in rhythm. Meyer also made some nice passes with his court vision.
Highlights
Price is a 2024 shooting guard who is silky smooth with the ball in his hands. He slices through the lane and always looked to push the tempo. He also made some nice passes on the fastbreak.
Farris is a 2025 wing who was a good cutter and slasher. He sees the open spots and cuts into them. Just really seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
Essegian is a big 2024 post that has good length. He is a nice shot blocker inside, and he also is tough on the glass. He also looked to push it up the floor and can handle it enough to push the tempo.
Cate is a 2024 wing who scored it in almost every way this weekend. He let it fly from the outside, but he also got to the rim and finished. Cate is really a do it all type of guy who could put up some big numbers for Richmond this year.
