Ja’Corian Oes Ja’Corian Oes 6'4" | PF Tyler Legacy | 2025 State TX 2025 6’5 Tyler Legacy High School
Ja’Corian is a name that is going to be quickly growing in popularity across the state of Texas. He is a beast when getting downhill and attacking the rim, bouncing off of his opponents and finishing strong. I was very impressed with his strength and frame at such a young age, and how willing he was to use it to fend off his opponents. He routinely used his body to get his defenders off balance and bounce them out of his way to the rim. In the open court, after a few times of him running up and down, no one wanted to get in front of him as he came down court at full speed. He had some emphatic finishes on the fast break, and showed off his willingness and ability to finish on either side of the rim. Oes has all the tools to be a really successful and impactful prospect at the next level. I would like to see continued development with his off hand, and getting into his shot from the mid-range with a live dribble. I am intrigued to get back in the gym to see him again soon.
Trey Evans Trey Evans 6'4" | SG New Home | 2023 TX 2023 6’4 New Home High School
Highlights
Trey is a high level shooting guard who will knock down any shot the defense gives him. He is an incredibly patient player, and always attacks the open space when he sees it. I was very impressed by his ability to get his own shot off, and how he was able to hunt for different looks across all three levels. He is a killer out of the corners, patiently waiting for a cross court pass to catch the defense off guard. He has a very reliable handle, calmly getting to his spots but also showing off his ability to handle the ball and initiate offense off of the defensive attention he receives. He patiently reacts to his defender, if he closes out hard, he attacks the rim hard after an up fake. If not, he immediately punishes you for not having a hand in his face. His ability to find his own shot in the corners was very impressive, and will be a skill that does not disappear at the next level. His variety and balanced scoring option he can bring to any team at an elite level is nothing to sniff at. At his size, he looks to have all the tools to successfully play the 2 or the 3 spot at the next level.
Kaden Jackson Kaden Jackson 6'0" | SG Bishop Dunne - Dallas | 2024 TX 2024 6’0 L.D Bell High School
Highlights
Kaden is the ideal glue guy at the guard spot with his ability to score off the catch, or create his own looks and facilitate for his team. He has the ability to be the focal point of his team’s offense with his consistent shooting and flawless mechanics. However the aspect I liked the most had to been his shiftiness without the ball in his hands. I loved watching him work off the ball to find space for himself and quickly getting his shot up over defenders. I was blown away with his ability to score from the perimeter, while also putting the ball on the floor and getting into the lane and scoring at the rim. Defensively, he is a stout on ball defender who is great at moving his feet and staying with his opponent on the defensive end of the floor, he locked up his defender with his ability to keep his man in front of him. I would like to see him work on his ability to create more for his teammates, he sees the floor at a high level, the next step is to be reading one step ahead of the defense.
Josiah Jackson Josiah Jackson 6'3" | PG International Leadership Of Texas Arlington-Grand Prairie | 2023 TX 2023 6’1 Lake Ridge High School
Highlights
Josiah is an elite guard who seems to grow in leaps and bounds every time I see him step on the court. He has a tremendous motor, allowing him to fly up and down the court relentlessly on both ends. Jackson has the ability to find any space within the full court and use his agility and athleticism to get through tight spots on the floor. He has an incredibly consistent handle which he uses to shift his opponent off balance and then quickly attack the rim. Defensively, he uses his length and motor to wreak havoc and make his opponents very uncomfortable. He moves his feet well to stay in front of his opponents and has active hands to tip passes in and play in the passing lanes. Jackson is one of those kids who with the amount of rapid development I have seen over the last year and a half, has all the tools to become an effective player at the next level. I would love to see a college coach get his hands on this kid’s mind and motor and develop him into the player I know he can become.
Jensen Knowles Jensen Knowles 6'3" | SG Richardson | 2024 TX 2024 6’3 Richardson High School
Jensen is a special prospect with his ability to do it all on both ends of the floor. The elite defensive presence he brought to his team forced his teammates to defend at a higher level. Knowles’ defensive awareness and intensity is already at an elite level, showing off all the tools to become a necessary on and off ball defender in college. He scored at a very high clip from all three levels, and really punished teams from the perimeter with his shot off the catch. He is not just a set shooter, he showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and score off the dribble as well! I was very impressed with his ability to create space off the dribble, as well as his consistent off ball movement. He worked the baseline for open shots in the corners and flashed to the front of the rim for easy looks in the paint.
