— Madison LaFollette
I think that Kleinsmith is one of the most underrated prospects in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The point guard had a big opportunity to impress on Sunday and he did not disappoint. Kleinsmith showed off many different skills. He scored really well at the rim, passed to open teammates when appropriate, and also was great as a ball handler and decision maker. Look out for Kleinsmith this upcoming high school season — he is poised to make a significant impact for LaFollette.

I really liked what I saw from Hansen this past summer. Playing against some stiff competition, the point guard more than proved his merit. On Sunday in Appleton, the Appleton North product once again played really good basketball. I thought that Hansen did a lot of positive things on the offensive end of the court. He passed well, scored when the opportunity presented itself, and did a really good job of setting his teammates up for success.

— Columbus
Uttech has quickly become one of my favorite prospects to watch in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The Columbus point guard just shows up to the gym and balls. On the offensive end, Uttech is super skilled. From distance, Uttech can drain three-point shots in his sleep. And as a slasher, the PG does a great job of using his strength to finish through contact. With some college coaches closely watching, Uttech was able to play at a high level.

Audley was a prospect that I wasn’t very familiar with heading into this weekend’s event. I simply hadn’t had the opportunity to watch him play in person. But after watching him compete on Sunday, I am now very high on the Oconomowoc point guard. He impressed as a shooter from deep and also was able to display a very high basketball-IQ. On multiple occasions, Audley was able to make the right basketball play, setting his squad up for success.

— Waukesha West
Last season at Waukesha West, Hill was able to put up some impressive scoring numbers. Now — a senior — I expect Hill to make a big statement. His final high school basketball season got off to a great start on Sunday in Appleton. With the ball in his hands, Hill is a versatile scorer who can get buckets in many different ways. He can slash to the rim and tally layups or step outside and knock down threes.

Cudahy | 2023
WI
— Cudhay
Christjohn is one of the top candidates in the state for a major breakout season. The Cudhay point guard is tough as nails. It doesn’t matter who he is matched up against, the PG is always going to give it his all and leave it on the court. Many point guards avoid contact at all costs. This isn’t the case with Christjohn. The Cudhay prospect is very physical on both ends of the court.
